great guy, amazing lawyer

I went with a winner. Brian Breiter is a winner. If you truly have a solid case, just know that if you go with Brian, you will be assured of the best possible outcome. Four years ago, I was rear-ended at a stoplight. The impact caused a precious injury, two herniated discs in my lower back, to ...recur. It ended up being a complicated case, but Brian and his team handled it with such care and concern, pushing hard when it was needed, but being patient and cautious when the situation called for it. He rolls with all the punches and is ten steps ahead at every turn. I ended up requiring more than one surgery, and extensive physical therapy. Brian was always a source of support and was the best advocate I could have asked for. Many lawyers I spoke with were hesitant to take my case on because of the preexisting condition. Brian didn't flinch at all. He came at it with the same intensity that he would with any winning case. And we won - big. He ended up getting me a substantial award for the case, and although I wish the accident hadn't happened, I'm glad that he was there to help me with this. I can't do all the things that I did before the accident, and am restricted with what I can do physically and work-wise, so I needed all the help I could get financially. I also lost a lot of work and money during my recoveries, and Brian recognized this and pressed the insurance company for more. While I can never fully recover physically, the sum that Brian helped me get will help in the coming years financially, and will allow me to continue to treat my injury. Dealing with insurance and opposition lawyers is an awful experience. But Brian made it bearable. He was the best guard dog against their attacks. He killed them with kindness, fought their callousness with ferocity, and even told several good jokes to break the ice now and then. It ended up being a really great learning experience, but I am glad that Brian was there to help me. The case took years to settle, but with patience, Brian's guidance, and the support of his dutiful staff - especially Mark and Rita - I was never left in the dark. Calls were returned same day, emails answered immediately, even on the weekend. Basically, I just can't recommend Brian Breiter enough. He is a great guy, the BEST personal injury attorney in Los Angeles, possibly earth, and I am proud and happy to now call him a friend. Thank you Brian for making one of the worst chapters in my life have a happy ending. I will be forever grateful.

Drunk Driving Case Review

Brian and Mark are amazing at what they do, are very personable, funny, and caring. You can stop reading the review here and just hire them but to give more details of our case and the process keep reading: My boyfriend and I were in the unfortunate situation of being hit by a drunk driver one ev...ening while driving home from a nice dinner. It was a traumatic experience; neither of us had been in a major accident before, let alone one that totaled two vehicles. Our physical injuries could have been a lot worse given the situation but luckily we were both able to walk away, until the next morning when we could barely move. We went to urgent care and saw our primary doctors but the back and neck pain didn’t go away. We didn’t know what to do in the situation and, being new to California, didn’t have a good network to seek advice. We turned to Yelp and decided to give Brian a call after reading through his positive reviews. The initial meeting with Brian and his colleague, Mark, was straight forward, going through the details on the accident and all of our personal information. They even recommended doctors for us to see in the area. Brian and Mark suggested that we finish all medical treatments before moving forward with the case to ensure all costs would be accounted for. This included seeing several doctors, multiple bouts of physical therapy, pain medication and acupuncture. This took time and nothing ever “cured” my pain. I still cannot sit in certain positions or for long durations without my back hurting and I get these awful twinges in my neck. I didn’t want to go the invasive epidural route so I was happy when I finally found a way to manage the pain through PT exercises. I told Brian I was done with treatment and off the case went. We provided all of our medical bills, out of pocket expenses, etc. and they ran with it. We had to appear for a deposition with the other side’s attorney at their office which was a little nerve wracking but we met with Brian and Mark ahead of time and prepared how to get through it. I would compare it to a bad interview, but it wasn’t as awful or scary as we thought it would be. We waited. In the background, Brian and Mark were hard at work trying to get all they could for us. They were good at informing us of where they were in the process, always returning our calls or answering questions. Finally, a settlement came in that we accepted and here we are. We learned that it can take a long time to go through the motions of a case but the wait was worth it. Brian and Mark aren’t the type to get it done quickly just to get it done and move on to their next case; they truly want to get what you deserve. Again, I would highly recommend Brian and his team. They are professional and caring and will help you through every aspect of your case to make sure you get the outcome you deserve.

Great Attorney!

Brian did an amazing job with our case and I would highly recommend him. Our family member was killed in a motor vehicle accident and it was very traumatic for our family. We live in NJ and did not know any attorneys in Los Angeles. An aquaitance recommended Brian, and it was the best decision... we made. Brian had incredible patience dealing with our family members, especially my mother-in-law who was especially mentally distraught over this accident. He made us feel as if he genuinely cared about us and we were all part of the same team. He was able to have the insurance company settle for the full term limits and my mother-in-law did not have to testify or give a deposition, which would have been extremely difficult considering here mental state and the fact that she is on the other side of the country. If you have a personal injury issue, do not hesitate to call Brian, you will be in very good hands.

The BEST lawyer - you're in good hands

I was a pedestrian who was hit by an irresponsible driver. Despite being on the crosswalk at the time of the accident, there were no key witnesses to prove that and the police report put me 100% at fault (while I was very seriously injured!). Not only was I emotionally and physically scarred, I w...as also in a lot of pain and needed medical attention after the accident. I knew I had to hire an attorney due to the complexity of my case. Furthermore, I was VERY upset that the police report put me at fault, when I knew perfectly well that the driver was going above the speed limit and because of that, hit me while I was on the cross walk, then put the blame on me. Alas, I was unconscious after I was hit and couldn't defend myself. While Brian was out of the office, I spoke to Brian's secretary over the phone and was impressed at how professional the office handled my case. Brian himself is a tremendous talent and helped me along each step of the case. He was always responsive to my inquiries even though he is busy. I felt that I was really in good hands, despite the circumstances. I was even more glad when we won the case, and am very impressed how he managed to fight for justice. I definitely recommend hiring Brian for your injury case, and know that you're working with the best of the best.

Must read!!

I don't even know where to begin when trying to describe Brian. He was one of the biggest advocates in my recovery and always made sure I had the proper care. He also knows where to find great food wherever you may be. My story goes like this- I was in a horrific, near death accident when I ran ...through a plate glass window while vacationing a little over a year ago. The injuries sustained required emergency surgery and my road to recovery was no where in sight. My friend put me in touch with an attorney who ended up not being very communicative with me and was not fighting for my case. I felt at a loss and was nervous the outcome would not be promising. Medical bills were piling up and I had lost mobility in my foot and had severe nerve damage. Miraculously, I ran into Brian when he so graciously held the elevator door open for my crippled self at a movie theater. We got to talking and I discovered he was a personal injury attorney. My boyfriend and I spent the night combing through reviews on Brian and decided to reconnect with him. It was evident that my case was not going to be easy to fight and Brian spent the next few months discussing my case with experts. We decided to give it a go and I knew Brian's expertise and compassion combined would provide me with a better outcome than the initial attorney working my case would. At the very least, I knew I had someone who would go to extreme lengths to fight for me while I was focused on recovering. After about a year of physical therapy, I was finally beginning to snap back to my pre-accident self; however, I still had a pretty bad loss of sensitivity to my foot, unattractive scars on my body, and secondary pain in my knee. My case finally came to a settlement during mediation about a month ago. It was very tough and the defense did not want to budge. In fact, they wanted to give me a fourth of what I ended up receiving. The only reason I received 4 times as much expected was because Brian knows how to present the facts and evidence. I hate to say this, but I am convinced if I stuck with my initial attorney, I would have ended up with zero and the facts would have been the same. The reality is, you have to make sure you find an attorney that doesn't just accept every case presented to him/her. You have to find one that understands your circumstances, properly vets any doctors he/she may send you to, and stays in communication with you. Brian is that guy. I am overjoyed with the outcome presented and cannot thank Brian and the rest of his office (shout out to Mark and Rita) enough!
