The day of my accident I was driving my motorcycle when a car ran a light and crashed into me on the bike. I was thrown 30 feet onto the street and I injured my back, shoulders, and I had road rash on the left side of my body. The entire experience was very violent and traumatizing.
After my accident a friend of mine referred me to Brian Breiter. I was hesitant at first because I had never used a lawyer before and I didn't understand how the process worked. Once I met Brian and Mark (another lawyer at the firm) I was 100% confident in their ability to take care of me and they broke down the entire process clearly and concisely.
Brian and his team told me how my accident would be rectified and they took care of all of the work. They were so kind and helpful through the entire process and they finished my case in a swift manner. Brian got me the maximum payment for my accident and it was much more than I ever imagined. I cannot thank Mark and Brian enough.

Brian Breiter handled my car accident. I was hit by a drunk driver and suffered a pretty severe and chronic neck injury. He and his team were very responsive and made sure I got the maximum settlement possible.
From my initial phone call to my settlement, he made himself available to me. I never felt like I was a bother. I highly recommend!!!!

I was represented by Brian Breiter and team after being hit while walking at a crosswalk and suffering a traumatic brain injury. Within 6-7 months, Brian settled my case for an amount greater than I could have possibly hoped for. He did a phenomenal job.
At the time of the accident, my family convinced me to get a lawyer just in case my medical bills mounted (which they did). I was apprehensive at first; I'm not a litigious person and have never been involved in any sort of lawsuit. But I knew that I was not at fault and that my injuries were serious and would likely be long-term.
The process of choosing an attorney was incredibly stressful. I didn't have any friends or family in the area to recommend a personal injury lawyer so I had to rely on sites like Yelp. We all know that sites like these can be immensely valuable, but also that you need to read reviews with some skepticism. Brian had so many rave reviews that I briefly worried that some could be fake. But then I thought, if the guys has this many good reviews he would obviously get a ton of business from other Yelpers. If the quality of his representation was worse than expected, you would expect a bunch of bad 1 star reviews. Brian has virtually 0 negative reviews. He really is that good.
Before deciding upon an attorney, I called 6-8 firms and spoke with them over the phone about my situation. For those of you in need of personal injury representation, I recommend that you do this as well. I was able to learn a lot about the process and got a variety of opinions about how I should proceed. Most of them, including Brian, thought that my case would likely take years to resolve (which makes it all the more impressive that Brian got the case resolved so quickly).
The only negative to calling so many lawyers is that they all became very interested in taking my case. Personally injury law can be a very lucrative and competitive market and I knew I had a good case, so this wasn't too surprising. In the end, I decided to meet with three lawyers in person. The final choice was between Brian and a larger, downtown firm that is also well-regarded on Yelp. Both seemed quite capable, but I decided to go with Brian because I was more confident that I would be working with him personally throughout the case. Brian assured me that if the case went to trial or arbitration, it would be him representing me. In the larger firm, I suspected that I might have had to deal more with other members of the firm. It also didn't hurt that Brian's fees were also much more reasonable.
Throughout the case, Brian was extremely easy to get in touch with. I could email him, call his office, or even call his personal cell phone. Brian or Mark (another lawyer at the firm) kept me up to date with everything and let me know if I needed to do anything. They made sure that I was receiving the proper medical care and offered to front several of my medical payments that health insurance would not cover.
At the end of the case, we needed to repay my health insurance for what it had paid towards my treatment. Brian, who fittingly teaches a class in negotiation, was able to greatly reduce what we needed to pay. When my settlement check was ready, Brian offered to leave his family's Passover celebration on a Saturday to meet with me and get me the check so I wouldn't have to wait any longer.
I really wish this accident never happened, but I can't imagine how much worse off I'd be if I didn't have a great lawyer like Brian at my side.

I don't know what would have become of me after my motorcycle accident if Brian and his staff had not been in my life. Someone once related a hard L.A. truth to me when I moved here: it's not a matter of 'if' you get hit, it's just a matter of 'when'. Sadly, when car meets motorcycle, the results aren't pretty and these incidents seem to just keep rising. I was fairly fortunate in mine but there is no doubt I would have been less healthy and out a lot of property had I not read the reviews on this site and then sought counsel with this amazing office. Brian and Mark reassured me that this accident was not something I caused or asked for. Their professional demeanor was one quality I admired, but it's the intangible qualities that radiate out of this office that are inspiring me to write this review today. Each time I called the first thing we talked about was how my physical therapy was coming along. They worked tirelessly to find therapists who were close to my home (something all Angelinos will appreciate) and further, that they were under the umbrella of my insurance. When my insurance lapsed during the course of my treatment, they again reassured me not to worry about it. They remembered little things, like my wife's name and my passions professionally. When it came down to negotiating with the hospitals, Brian and his staff got everything reduced. I understand fully that Law offices are under no obligation to do this and, as it doesn't effect what they receive they often don't go the extra mile. You won't feel that way here. Here you can actually have faith that against all stereotypes that someone actually does care. During my final meeting I expressed to both Brian and Mark how truly grateful I am -and I really meant it. If you ride a motorcycle in L.A.- enjoy! Remain vigilant and take advantage of the 300 + days of sunshine we have! But, God forbid, some irresponsible driver hits you- or causes damage to your body, do yourself a favor and call. Their legal knowledge is vast but they don't forget the person they represent. Plus, Brian loves The Simpsons- so you know he's a cool guy!

I went with a winner.
Brian Breiter is a winner. If you truly have a solid case, just know that if you go with Brian, you will be assured of the best possible outcome.
Four years ago, I was rear-ended at a stoplight. The impact caused a precious injury, two herniated discs in my lower back, to recur. It ended up being a complicated case, but Brian and his team handled it with such care and concern, pushing hard when it was needed, but being patient and cautious when the situation called for it. He rolls with all the punches and is ten steps ahead at every turn. I ended up requiring more than one surgery, and extensive physical therapy. Brian was always a source of support and was the best advocate I could have asked for.
Many lawyers I spoke with were hesitant to take my case on because of the preexisting condition. Brian didn't flinch at all. He came at it with the same intensity that he would with any winning case. And we won - big. He ended up getting me a substantial award for the case, and although I wish the accident hadn't happened, I'm glad that he was there to help me with this. I can't do all the things that I did before the accident, and am restricted with what I can do physically and work-wise, so I needed all the help I could get financially. I also lost a lot of work and money during my recoveries, and Brian recognized this and pressed the insurance company for more. While I can never fully recover physically, the sum that Brian helped me get will help in the coming years financially, and will allow me to continue to treat my injury.
Dealing with insurance and opposition lawyers is an awful experience. But Brian made it bearable. He was the best guard dog against their attacks. He killed them with kindness, fought their callousness with ferocity, and even told several good jokes to break the ice now and then. It ended up being a really great learning experience, but I am glad that Brian was there to help me.
The case took years to settle, but with patience, Brian's guidance, and the support of his dutiful staff - especially Mark and Rita - I was never left in the dark. Calls were returned same day, emails answered immediately, even on the weekend.
Basically, I just can't recommend Brian Breiter enough. He is a great guy, the BEST personal injury attorney in Los Angeles, possibly earth, and I am proud and happy to now call him a friend.
Thank you Brian for making one of the worst chapters in my life have a happy ending. I will be forever grateful.

Brian and Mark are amazing at what they do, are very personable, funny, and caring. You can stop reading the review here and just hire them but to give more details of our case and the process keep reading:
My boyfriend and I were in the unfortunate situation of being hit by a drunk driver one evening while driving home from a nice dinner. It was a traumatic experience; neither of us had been in a major accident before, let alone one that totaled two vehicles. Our physical injuries could have been a lot worse given the situation but luckily we were both able to walk away, until the next morning when we could barely move. We went to urgent care and saw our primary doctors but the back and neck pain didn’t go away. We didn’t know what to do in the situation and, being new to California, didn’t have a good network to seek advice. We turned to Yelp and decided to give Brian a call after reading through his positive reviews. The initial meeting with Brian and his colleague, Mark, was straight forward, going through the details on the accident and all of our personal information. They even recommended doctors for us to see in the area.
Brian and Mark suggested that we finish all medical treatments before moving forward with the case to ensure all costs would be accounted for. This included seeing several doctors, multiple bouts of physical therapy, pain medication and acupuncture. This took time and nothing ever “cured” my pain. I still cannot sit in certain positions or for long durations without my back hurting and I get these awful twinges in my neck. I didn’t want to go the invasive epidural route so I was happy when I finally found a way to manage the pain through PT exercises. I told Brian I was done with treatment and off the case went.
We provided all of our medical bills, out of pocket expenses, etc. and they ran with it. We had to appear for a deposition with the other side’s attorney at their office which was a little nerve wracking but we met with Brian and Mark ahead of time and prepared how to get through it. I would compare it to a bad interview, but it wasn’t as awful or scary as we thought it would be. We waited. In the background, Brian and Mark were hard at work trying to get all they could for us. They were good at informing us of where they were in the process, always returning our calls or answering questions.
Finally, a settlement came in that we accepted and here we are. We learned that it can take a long time to go through the motions of a case but the wait was worth it. Brian and Mark aren’t the type to get it done quickly just to get it done and move on to their next case; they truly want to get what you deserve.
Again, I would highly recommend Brian and his team. They are professional and caring and will help you through every aspect of your case to make sure you get the outcome you deserve.

Brian did an amazing job with our case and I would highly recommend him.
Our family member was killed in a motor vehicle accident and it was very traumatic for our family. We live in NJ and did not know any attorneys in Los Angeles. An aquaitance recommended Brian, and it was the best decision we made.
Brian had incredible patience dealing with our family members, especially my mother-in-law who was especially mentally distraught over this accident. He made us feel as if he genuinely cared about us and we were all part of the same team.
He was able to have the insurance company settle for the full term limits and my mother-in-law did not have to testify or give a deposition, which would have been extremely difficult considering here mental state and the fact that she is on the other side of the country.
If you have a personal injury issue, do not hesitate to call Brian, you will be in very good hands.

I was a pedestrian who was hit by an irresponsible driver. Despite being on the crosswalk at the time of the accident, there were no key witnesses to prove that and the police report put me 100% at fault (while I was very seriously injured!).
Not only was I emotionally and physically scarred, I was also in a lot of pain and needed medical attention after the accident. I knew I had to hire an attorney due to the complexity of my case. Furthermore, I was VERY upset that the police report put me at fault, when I knew perfectly well that the driver was going above the speed limit and because of that, hit me while I was on the cross walk, then put the blame on me. Alas, I was unconscious after I was hit and couldn't defend myself.
While Brian was out of the office, I spoke to Brian's secretary over the phone and was impressed at how professional the office handled my case. Brian himself is a tremendous talent and helped me along each step of the case. He was always responsive to my inquiries even though he is busy. I felt that I was really in good hands, despite the circumstances. I was even more glad when we won the case, and am very impressed how he managed to fight for justice.
I definitely recommend hiring Brian for your injury case, and know that you're working with the best of the best.

I don't even know where to begin when trying to describe Brian. He was one of the biggest advocates in my recovery and always made sure I had the proper care. He also knows where to find great food wherever you may be.
My story goes like this-
I was in a horrific, near death accident when I ran through a plate glass window while vacationing a little over a year ago. The injuries sustained required emergency surgery and my road to recovery was no where in sight. My friend put me in touch with an attorney who ended up not being very communicative with me and was not fighting for my case. I felt at a loss and was nervous the outcome would not be promising. Medical bills were piling up and I had lost mobility in my foot and had severe nerve damage.
Miraculously, I ran into Brian when he so graciously held the elevator door open for my crippled self at a movie theater. We got to talking and I discovered he was a personal injury attorney. My boyfriend and I spent the night combing through reviews on Brian and decided to reconnect with him. It was evident that my case was not going to be easy to fight and Brian spent the next few months discussing my case with experts. We decided to give it a go and I knew Brian's expertise and compassion combined would provide me with a better outcome than the initial attorney working my case would. At the very least, I knew I had someone who would go to extreme lengths to fight for me while I was focused on recovering.
After about a year of physical therapy, I was finally beginning to snap back to my pre-accident self; however, I still had a pretty bad loss of sensitivity to my foot, unattractive scars on my body, and secondary pain in my knee.
My case finally came to a settlement during mediation about a month ago. It was very tough and the defense did not want to budge. In fact, they wanted to give me a fourth of what I ended up receiving. The only reason I received 4 times as much expected was because Brian knows how to present the facts and evidence. I hate to say this, but I am convinced if I stuck with my initial attorney, I would have ended up with zero and the facts would have been the same. The reality is, you have to make sure you find an attorney that doesn't just accept every case presented to him/her. You have to find one that understands your circumstances, properly vets any doctors he/she may send you to, and stays in communication with you. Brian is that guy. I am overjoyed with the outcome presented and cannot thank Brian and the rest of his office (shout out to Mark and Rita) enough!

My mother and i are very grateful to Mr. Brian for helping us. I got hit by a car on a parking lot and Brian helped us increase the amount of money that we were supposed to get as a compensation from the insurance company. The case seemed complicated, but in the end we received much more money than we expected. He was very polite and attentive when answering all our questions. We are happy that we chose him to work with our case and next time we need an attorney we will definitely come back!
Thank you, Brian and Mark! You have helped us a lot and we really appreciate your work.
