Avengers in the Courtroom

November 20th, 2015 is a day I will never forget. I was running errands for work around Los Angeles and was violently rear ended on the 101 freeway. I had been at a dead stop in the fast lane and a massive F250 truck plowed right into me at full speed. It was almost like it had happened in slow motio...n. I saw him coming in the rear view mirror and I remember thinking, “please stop, please stop, please stop.” I braced for impact and closed my eyes as the force snapped my neck back and fourth. I ended up breaking the back window out with the back of my head in my single cab truck. The bed was in the shape of a rainbow instead of a regular flat truck bed. The entire dash of the car-A/C, stereo, etc.-had exploded onto my lap. Fortunately, I was wearing my seatbelt. I didn’t black out for long but was immediately in shock from the accident. My back, neck, and head were throbbing and hurt all over. While I headed to the hospital for my injuries I immediately started questioning how I was going to navigate this nightmare on my own. That was literally my first thought. Not my own health and recovery but HOW I was going to take on such a financial burden. I only had Medi-Cal and knew that if I missed even one day of work it would be a struggle to pay my bills. I was in so much pain and had no idea where to turn until a coworker of mine referred me to Brian Breiter and his team. I was really hesitant about hiring an attorney-this was a first for me, but after meeting with Brian and Mark, I finally felt a bit of relief knowing I had a solid team who was ready to fight for my recovery. Brian got me in to see amazing specialists, physical therapists, and started treatment right away. I can’t even put into words how much my life got turned upside down from this accident, but he’s helped me turn it right side up again. You don’t realize how much back/neck injuries can impact your daily routine until you’re forced to. I ended up being out of work for a year due to my injuries and was in need of a Worker’s Comp attorney as well. Brian didn’t hesitate to connect me with Lester Friedman, who specialized in WC so their offices could work together to get me the medical attention I needed. What you don’t realize when you’re hurt like I was, is that there are several hoops to jump through and insurance companies will fight to the nail to not cover your treatment regardless of fault, and regardless if you’re injured. Having Brian stand beside me and fight for me was imperative to my recovery, my sanity, and has made it possible for me to live the closest thing to a normal life as possible. I am beyond grateful to be here, and I am committed to overcoming these injuries. It’s a choice I wake up and make every single day. These injuries will be with me the rest of my life, but they will not define me. I cannot thank them enough for the incredible support they extended to me, the guidance they provided, and how much they put into this case on my behalf. Best of the best

A little over 2 years ago I was walking with a friend to the Santa Monica pier when I was struck by a car. My knee was broken pretty badly and I had to get surgery to have it fixed. I got in touch with Brian and he was so exellent to me! Consistently reassuring me and helping me every step of the way... through the process. After the accident I had to move in with my mother in New Jersey to recover but he made sure we were always in contact and even flew to the east coast for my deposition. Support with Motorcycle Accident

Last September, a car pulled out in front of me while I rode my motorcylce down Olympic Blvd in downtown Los Angeles. I was injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment. After being released, I felt that the insurance company was trying to take advantage of me, as they only wanted to pay for my... bike and not any injuries or compensation for time off work. Professional, courteous lawyer and team.

I have thankfully not had to hire legal counsel before now. Unfortunately, a couple of years ago, I was in a car accident that necessitated that I have surgery to try to get back to normal health again. I spent over a year attempting to navigate through the process of insurance claims on my own, and ...made no progress toward being repaid for my medical costs while also trying to be my own advocate for all of my healthcare needs despite my own health insurance also trying to bill me for my own surgery. I was immensely frustrated with the insurance companies involved and did not have much faith in any appropriate resolution to the case. After all the stress of trying to navigate the process myself, having Brian and his team take over was surprisingly hands-off for me. They contacted me for updates now and then, but overall it was much quieter and far less stressful than what I had become accustomed to. This past week, I got a phone call from Brian that everything was finally done. It was surprising and a little strange to finally have a resolution to something that had seemed endless.
