Aggressive, Results-Driven Attorney

Larry was exactly what I was looking for... extremely responsive and aggressive. I don't live in the state of Georgia, but needed a GA criminal defense attorney for my husband who lived in GA many years ago and had discovered through a background check that his former wife had taken out a warrant ag...ainst him (for "terroristic threats") during their tumultuous divorce many years prior. She regretted it - but it was out of her hands. I conducted my due diligence, researching attorneys who I thought may be able to help us out of this situation, and after interviewing 3 other attorneys and not feeling comfortable with them I found Larry. Being an attorney myself, but not licensed in GA, I knew during my first call with Larry that he was the right attorney. This was a situation we needed handled as quickly and aggressively as possible, as it has the possibility of affecting my husband's career. Larry went to work immediately and was very communicative. While I had confidence he would take care of this situation for us, I was surprised when I received his call the following week that he had managed to get the judge to order the warrant be dismissed. Larry is the guy to call if you want an attorney that takes immediate action and gets results. I highly recommend him.

Extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and resourceful lawyer

Larry was a phenomenal help to my case. I was arrested for DUI and had a blood test result of 0.111. He got my case lowered to "Reckless Driving" within four months of my arrest. He was extremely helpful and diligent throughout the process and kept me informed of my case. Additionally, Larry was very... compassionate and catered to my future goals of attending graduate school and was extremely quick and efficient in responding to my communications.

My Son's Diversion Program Via Larry Kohn Attorney

My son 19 got into a little trouble with a very small amount of marijuana in Cobb County Georgia this past summer. We live out of state so I thought things might get a little complicated. I was referred to Larry Kohn. From the first phone call Larry put us at ease. I have to tell you the cost factor ...in regards to the economics of the situation sure was not bad as I thought was going to happen either. Larry even let us do a payment plan. The time now is the middle of November, and all charges were just dropped, and my son did not even have to go back to the state of Georgia for anything. Now; my son had to complete a Pretrial Diversion Program. Meaning several passing drug tests along with 40 hours community service, and a MADD program with a hand written essay. Out goal was not to have anything on our son's record that would have an adverse effect down the road. Larry accomplished that task mapping out the game plan up front, and communicating every step of the way. He always had time for any questions, and was totally on his game. Thank you Larry for a job well done. In regards to our son. All that I can say at this point is what a leaning experience he went through, and it scared him enough to understand the gravity of the situation, and to take steps to change his life. DUI reduced to reckless driving no license suspension!!!!

I was charged with failure to maintain lane and a DUI while driving a rental car on 10/23/2014. I didn't have any prior charges had never been in trouble and I've never been arrested. I met with several attorneys regarding this matter and decided to go with Mr. Kohn after after meeting with him rea...ding his success stories. I am so glad that I went with my gut. I hired him a week before my initial hearing date and the day of my court date he had everything worked out prior to me even arriving to court. He has great relationships within the courtroom and with the police department. He is well respected and reputable. He's extremely direct and honest about how he feels about a case and what to expect. I walked away without a DUI conviction!!! It was reduced to reckless driving and my license was not restricted of suspended. The fines the community service ect still have to be done but that's nothing compared to being convicted of a DUI...He was truly a Godsent!!!

Over and done in 6 weeks!
