honest and trustworthy

Larry Kohn exceeded my expectations and more. I have never felt more confident in a lawyer before as I did with Mr. Kohn. He was always available to answer my questions and most importantly, he was trustworthy and gave me honest opinion which I appreciated very much. For sure, the best lawyer I have ...ever hired. Thank you for all your hard work!

Excellent attorney

I was in Dekalb Recorders Court last week on a charge of no drivers license. I do not have a license and can't get one. This could have caused a huge problem with my immigration status. I didn't have an attorney and could not qualify for the public defender. I saw Mr. Kohn representing others wel...l and asked if he would consider representing me on such short notice - the same morning. When I explained my situation to him he immediately grasped the problem and how it could affect me. He agreed to help me immediately for a reasonable fee and he went right away to talk with the prosecutor on my behalf. The outcome was much better than I had hoped for (the case was dropped) and I'm very grateful to Mr. Kohn for what he did. I recommend him highly for anyone in a similar situation. He was a life-savior for me.

Gave Me Peace of Mind

I appreciated his immediate response and after hours meeting when I told him of my situation. He took the time to genuinely listen to my side and then presented a couple no of B.S. scenarios. Hard to take all in at once but he explained them all in a very personable way that I left feeling that I was... in very good hands. After that he acted quickly to get my case resolved as soon as possible with the best possible outcome. He was always available to answer any questions I had, no matter how small. In the end, he actually got the case resolved better than what I expected. The whole process was scary to me but I could always count on him for a sensible answer to put me at ease. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Forever indebted to Mr Kohn!

I will be forever indebted to Mr Kohn for the outstanding legal counsel he provided me. I am employed in a very white collar profession where high moral standards are obligatory. I was arrested for a DUI which could have easily resulted in termination had I been convicted. Mr Kohn told me the outcome... he thought he could obtain and any contingency plans, without promising or guaranteeing anything. By the way, beware of any attorney that can "guarantee" you a certain outcome .... s/he is either immoral, lying, or both. Mr Kohn instructed me to do 40 hours of community service, attend DUI school, and obtain a substance abuse evaluation prior to my court date. Doing these things helped project a responsible image with the court and likely helped secure the deal that I ultimately obtained. I basically got the DUI reduced to wreckless driving and a fee of $900, which I ended up not having to pay because I had already paid a bond which exceeded this ... so I actually got a refund! There was no probation. When I left court that day, I was liberated from all of my legal troubles and was able to wipe my hands clean of everything. I could not be happier with the work Mr Kohn did for me and the outcome he achieved. I would enthusiastically recommend him without reservation! Hopefully I will never again require his services, but if I do, I will undoubtedly return to him!

Larry is the man!

1. CASE: I received a school zone speeding ticket with a fine of over $1K and a potential to accumulate points on my record. 2. VERDICT: Larry was able to reduce my speed to make it a non-reportable offense and reduced the fine by 75%. 3. CONCLUSION: Larry is the man! He was very responsive throu...ghout the entire process and has a great rapport with individuals in the industry. He provided me with his personal cell phone number and responds back within minutes to any request. If you're ever in trouble, Larry is the man to call.
