Couldn't be happier with his services!

I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome of my case and with Mr. Kohn's services. I had been pulled over with a DUI and reckless driving (I refused my breathalyzer) and Larry met with me the day after my arrest. After the arrest, I was so shaken up and felt like my life was over. He imme...diately helped me to take control of my case and laid out all of my options and the steps I needed to take to put this situation behind me. I left his office feeling 10 times better about my case. I did everything he told me to do and ended up with reckless driving instead of a DUI on my record, 80 hours of community service, and 1 year probation. I kept my license and kept my record clean! I would definitely recommend Larry to anyone with a DUI!

Best advice that I did not want to hear

Getting a DUI was not something I ever expected, and so I was in a totally alien place. After interviewing several attorneys, I chose Larry for his willingness to speak with me prior to retaining him and his knowledge of the venue and court system. Larry did not sugarcoat my situation, but he was s...upportive and professional. While "you may have to do a couple of days in jail" is not something I wanted to hear or do, I'm glad he convinced me. I walked away without a DUI, my license intact, and a little better as a person. I recommend him highly.

DUI Case

My case was truly special... the sideshow (I had a 10 felony count federal indictment at the same time) was more of a distraction than the case itself, but Larry handled the case as it should have been. He managed to secure continuances and continued to work the case diligently until the federal cas...e came to a conclusion. He was more than patient and after four years, we have finally come to an acceptable disposition. The reason that I originally secured Larry Kohn as my attorney is still valid. He is an expert in his field and his great working relationship with the GA Prosecutors proved more than a necessity as any unwanted outcome prior to my federal trial could have been disastrous. Since I had the other situation, he was more than sensitive to my plight. I would highly recommend Larry to anyone, he was a great person to have fighting in my corner.

Simply the best...period.

Confused, overwhelmed, scared and devastated are just a few of the many feelings one experiences when facing a DUI conviction. On top of that you’re inundated with mailings from 10's of attorneys seeking your patronage. Each promising he or she is "the one". Without question Larry is "the one".... Simply the best...period. Larry's DUI expertise, relationships in the legal and law enforcement community and the unyielding respect he's earned from those same persons, is unprecedented. Larry truly cares about helping you and your situation. He knows exactly what to do when and is always about two steps in front of everyone else. True story – During my implied consent hearing, we were all waiting in the room for things to get started. A dozen or so police officers, attorneys and other hearing persons were preparing for the morning activities. Shortly thereafter everyone began the break-out discussions of individual cases. I was surprised by what happened next. To my amazement police officers and others wanted to ask Larry something. It’s as if someone announced to the room, “Hey everyone, Larry’s here in case you need assistance.” It was obvious Larry was the go-to guy in the room. Retaining Larry is the right thing to do. Furthermore, he absolutely brings value to your case and is worth every penny.

Great lawyer!! Good listener!! Genuinely concerned!!

I hated the fact that I got a dui back in 2004, but after speaking with Mr. Kohn about my options, the entire process didn't seem so bad. Larry took the time first to get to know me as a person and not just as another client. From the very beginning, he was warm, kind hearted and sincere while at t...he same time, very direct and forthcoming. He always made eye contact when he spoke to me and to a former Marine Sergeant like myself, that spoke volumes. I wasn't really sure what to expect from the process but I knew immediately that jail was not an option. Larry understood my position and literally worked his but off to make sure that I didn't wind up in jail - away from my family and loved ones. He made sure that I was aware of the seriousness of my pending charges while at the same time, made it very clear that this situation I found myself in was not the end of the road for me and he constantly reminded me that there is life after a dui. To sum it all up, Larry made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process and that gave me the confidence I needed to admit that I had a problem and seek the help I desparately needed. I'm proud to say that because of his genuine concern for my well being and his professional assistance in getting me on the right track, I am now the proud owner of dui & risk reduction program here in Georgia and you better believe that when potential clients come to my school and ask for a good lawyer, Larry A.
