Larry Kohn recently handled my DUI case. Initial prosecutor settlement offers included jail time and excessive community service. Larry took a personal interest in my situation and was committed to getting me the best deal possible in my circumstances. Larry gave me step by step directions to bett...er position myself, including preemptive counseling, community service, AA meetings and other actions. We successfully negotiated a plea with which I was very pleased. Larry has a unique depth of knowledge in DUI practices and procedures in many jurisdictions in Georgia. Stunning Results. Simplify your case, Call Larry.

Case: DUI and other charges for Repeat (5 or more) offender Outcome: No Jail, Minimum Fine, Community Service. Yes, you read that correctly. That is where the title to this review comes from. I have never used the same attorney twice. It turns out I never met the right one until now. My exist...ing case was the worst yet and could have easily resulted in multiple felonies. When I had a major surgery, I asked each surgeon I interviewed who that doctor would use outside his own practice. The same name appeared more than once. I used him. In this case, when interviewing attorneys I asked the same question "Who would you use that is not in your practice?" That is how I discovered Larry Kohn. I asked for the best and I got him. He responds quickly. When I had a scheduling issue, he came in Saturday morning to meet me. He has responded to every call, every text and every email within a few hours, never days. That alone, puts him way above my previous experiences. He managed my case to 1) Avoid Adminstrative License Suspension for one year for refusing testing 2) Avoid felony charges 3) Provide best sentencing outcome That had the least impact on my business and family. He met all these objects perfectly. In addition to managing the case, he also managed his client (me). I am a successful business owner in spite of my past history, who relapsed and made a terrible mistake. He eased the "Beating yourself Up Phase" with a positive action plan to address my issues, as well as prepare for court so they had something more to see than a damning video and my past record. I chose to follow his recommendations in full. It made all the difference in the world in my case. We went to court for a preliminary calendar call and walked out with the deal of the century. I could hardly believe it. When finalized before the judge, it did not even seem like an adversarial proceeding. Somehow, he worked it so that even the solicitor was pulling for me. The respect the court has for him is obvious. I throw around compliments like manhole covers, and rarely write any reviews but he has earned this one. Thanks Larry.

When my particular incident occurred I was sick to my stomach and not sure what direction to take. I found Mr. Kohn's office online and went in for a consultation for my case. He and his office are very responsive to text, calls, and emails. A straight talker and to the point, I never felt as if he w...ere selling me a dream. Outstanding Experience
