From Nightmare to Dream Result

My younger son (17-year-old) got himself in serious trouble. This was my biggest nightmare. I didn’t know what to do since we have never had to hire a lawyer before. So I called a friend and he recommended Larry. He told me how he had assisted him with his son with a positive result. I reached o...ut to Larry we met on a Saturday in his office and he took my son's case. Larry is extremely professional and is proactive in his approach. Larry is a great person and good to work with. I wish I would have met Larry under different circumstances but I am happy that I met Larry. Larry handles my son's case extremely well with the most positive result that anyone the hope for! I have already thanked my friend for recommending Larry to me and I have referenced Larry to others that have called me back and thanked me for recommending Larry. He delivers

I had 9 points on my driving record when I was cited for 2 separate speeding violations and arrested on a reckless driving charge. It was obvious that if I were to get convicted of these new charges I would have had my license suspended and/or worse. I met with Larry and he immediately explained wh...at I needed to do in order to get these charges dismissed and reduced. He stated that I needed to do a defensive driving course and community service pre-trial so we could be in a better situation to negotiate. He delivered on his word. My first speeding violation was reduced from 22 MPH over to 14 MPH and Under. My reckless driving charge was dismissed and my second speeding violation was reduced from 32 MPH over to 14 MPH and Under. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of my cases, and would recommend Larry to anyone in need of help in a heartbeat. Thanks Larry.

Honest and Forthright with young adult

We contacted Larry after my young adult son made a serious error in judgement by shoplifting at a big box store. Mr. Kohn was honest about the seriousness of the charge and did not let him excuse his way out of the problem. He also explained the potential for a harsher sentence with my son especially... in light of a previous misdemeanor in another state and expunged misdemeanor when he was underage in same muncipality. We were concerned that his future could be severely compromised and my son finally got the message.. Larry was able to get a fair agreement with judge and this young adult is now scared enough that he is attending AA without complaint. He will still have to do a year of probation and pay a fine. But Larry let him know that failure to complete probation and treatment would result in jail time. Although the 150.00 shoplifting mistake was very expensive to fix.... remember that municipal courts make their revenue off of low level offenders and the offense could have yielded a much higher penalty without his representation. We appreciate Larry's efforts and approach with our son.

Beyond grateful

Mr. Kohn represented me on a DUI/ refusal charge, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my case. As someone who has never been in any sort of trouble with the law, this has been a very humiliating and stressful experience for me. Thankfully, Larry was able to alleviate a great deal of this bu...rden for me. Larry saved my license from suspension at the ALS hearing, while getting the officer onboard for reducing my charges to reckless. In the end, I got what I was hoping for and more (no DUI conviction AND I got to keep my license). A DUI could have gravely affected my future aspirations, but thanks to Larry I can rest easy knowing that I'm not carrying that on my record.

3rd Dui in 10 years.

Mr. Kohn is a phenomenal attorney. He just represented me for a DUI charge. It was my 2nd in 5 years, 3rd in 10. I had originally hired another attorney and his firm, who are well known for DUI defense cases but will not be named here. Short story, they mishandled my case to the point I was not notif...ied of my court date and spent a week in jail on a bench warrent. Mr. Kohn got me off on timed served, a total of 8 days . I served more time on my second DUI, 30 days to be precise. My probation and other probation related obligations are the same as my 2nd Dui. I also live out of state and the only reason I had to come back into georgia at all was due to the fact I was not able to complete couseling and pay the fine before hand. Mr. Kohn and his staff are incredible and we're always available for any question I had during this time. While I hope to never need Mr. Kohn' expertise in the future, he is the only attorney in Georgia I trust.
