Honest, Ethical, Knowledgeable Attorney
I hired Michael Haber based on all of the previous positive reviews on AVVO. I had no prior criminal record, but was arrested for a DUI & careless driving on the worst night of my life. I had an accident in which I hit 1 car, which hit another car, the 2nd car hit a 3rd car. It was a 4 car accident. ...
And I too am thankful to you Jennifer. I truly appreciate your explanation that you took a "leap of faith" in retaining my law office based upon what other clients had written about their experiences and now, at the conclusion of your case, you have done the same for the benefit of others (and for my law practice as well). Thank you again, and congratulations on a most favorable outcome.

"It's very hard to find a Lawyer who has a big HEART"
I wanted to let everyone including the firm how I felt about your service. I want to start with my knowledge and experiences that I have had with other Law Firms. Lawyers that I have had in the past have an Assistant who replies to all email's or returns your calls for the lawyers. WELL GUESS WHAT...
Thank you for your very kind review Edith. As you know I run a boutique practice. I do my best to cater to the needs of my clients, and that means, for the most part, personal and personalized service. Unlike the other players in a given case (i.e. the Judge or the prosecuting authority) I maintain a small enough case load that I can both dedicate the time to my client and thereby come to know my client, my client's circumstances, their family, their needs, etc. At Michael A. Haber, PA clients are not case numbers or statistics; they are people, real people, and at the end of the case it is my sincere hope that we will then be more than attorney-client... we will then be friends. Thank you again!

Just wonderful
My name is Maurice I was referred to Mr.Haber by a friend of mine when I first called Mr.Haber to take my case he was very helpful, I had a situation and he was kind enough to understand my situation Mr. Haber first asked me if I had any cases in the past and I told him, "yes". He's not the type of ...
Thank you for your kind words Maurice. Keeping the client informed is always a priority in my law office, and it never ceases to amaze me how many lawyers don't take this responsibility seriously. In cases like yours, where a trial is imminent and you will testify, preparation is key (actually, in my business, and in life generally, preparation is always key to everything...). There are many nuances, some critical, that can effect how your testimony will be received and considered, you absolutely need to know what to expect on cross-examination and there is only one way to get a head's up on that... yes, preparation. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts on my representation and congratulations on your (our) victory!

Out of town arrest
I have know Michael personally for several years but have neither ever needed his services nor do I personally know anyone who he has represented. A few months ago I was out of town on the west coast of Florida and found myself taken to jail on a misunderstanding. I felt powerless, no one listened ...
Tyvm Fritz. I rarely pat myself on the back but I will graciously (most graciously actually) accept your having done so. The only thing that is more satisfying than accomplishing the litigation objective is having done do so for a friend. I know (whether spoken or not) that there is always some trepidation about hiring a friend for a professional assignment, and so I thank you for your leap of faith, as well as for your kind and heartfelt words.

Midnight Arrest Emergency: Perspective of the Wife of the Arrested
My husband, a white-collar property manager with absolutely no prior legal record of any kind, was working four hours away from home for the day in an effort to offer face-to-face communication to a disgruntled party. Instead of a grateful reception, said party rescinded their welcome and called the ...
You are most welcome, and thank you very much for your extremely detailed and kind review! My the goals in representing folks are A) to be honest and realistic about litigation objectives; B) to be fair in regard to fees; C) to be consistently available and responsive to the client (in person, by phone call, text, email, Facebook. Twitter and otherwise); D) to keep the client informed; and E) to secure your positive feedback / client review at the conclusion of each case. Mission Accomplished! Thank you again.
