Violation of probation
First and for most, I just want to say thank you so much Mr. Haber it was a pleasure. I don’t regret hiring you not one bit for my boyfriend. Being the person who found you and hired you to get the job done it was really stressful especially being in Orlando and your 300+ miles away Not knowing if yo...
Dear Tashae, Thank you so much for your most kind words, for taking the time to author #HaberPA's 211th Client Review on AVVO and by doing so for sharing something of your experience with #HaberPA with the folks. There are an inordinate number of lawyers to choose from, the task is made much more difficult (and, frankly, risky... as a distressing percentage of attorneys present as consummate yet prove to themselves to be rotten) when you are doing your diligence from afar, and it is for this reason that, to me, your review is particularly precious. "But for" other clients having shared their own heartfelt and earnest experiences with you (in the form of their respective client reviews) there is a substantial probability that you would not have even thought to reach out to #HaberPA; simultaneously, "but for" (pardon the braggadocio) my actual punctuality, professionalism and performance, neither any of them, nor you, would have had any motivation to take the time and put forth the effort to share intimate thoughts, feelings and impressions with other folks who may find themselves haphazardly looking for a lawyer on the internet. So, from me to you, please accept my ardent and most profound thanks. I am elated that we were able to resolve the case in such a favorable manner (the specifics of which are a subject for a different conversation), I am fervently grateful for your sincere summary and I wish you and yours all the best. Delightedly, MAH/Esq.

Returning Property (firearm) from POLICE
I used to work with another lawyer who promised me to return my firearm without any problems from HOMESTEAD POLICE DEPARTMENT and since that past almost one year and nothing. I was very sad. I start surfing YouTube trying find any help and BIG THANK YOU to the Michael Adam Haber PA, he having the ...
Dear Hernando, Thank you so very much for your kind words and for authoring #HaberPA's 210th Client Review on AVVO. The number of people who come to me with 100% legitimate complaints about their lawyers never ceases to amaze me, and while I'd prefer to be the guy who gets the job done right in the first instance I'm also always happy to come in and clean up some other sub-standard lawyer's mess. I am also particularly grateful to you for explaining to the folks how you met me (to wit: by watching one of #HaberPA's VideoFAQs on our YouTube channel "MichaelHaberLaw" - in this instance # 281 - How can I get my Gun back from the Police? @ https://youtu.be/sRP_PLegJCo ). #HaberPA's VideoFAQ started as an experiment but has evolved into a significant source of information and business, with all of our 375 short, creative and informative Criminal Defense, Criminal Law & Criminal Procedure, DUI, BUI, Domestic Violence, Crime Victim's Rights, Evidence and Seal & Expunge Webisodes being available through my AVVO attorney profile (of course I welcome anyone to view them via AVVO's platform but I will be especially grateful for a subscription to: www.youtube.com/c/michaelhaberlaw ). That said, it took 2 weeks from the day that you and I first spoke for me to secure (in hand) a certified Court Order requiring the HPD to return your firearm to you, but I also secured and provided you with the protocol from HPD (including HPD's "Firearm's Claim Form", without which you could not regain possession of your gun) and connected you with the Record's Custodian who was CC'd with all documents (the Motion, the Notice of Hearing and the Court Order) in real time. It matters not whether I am tasked with a filing a procedural motion such as yours or a jury trial or anything in between, as no matter what the objective #HaberPA will always pay attention to the client and the client's needs, field your questions, ease your concerns and otherwise keep you in the loop until such time as we have provided the precise service for which we were retained. It is only by serving our clients in this boutique fashion that we can hope to earn your positive client review at the conclusion of your case. I am thrilled that you are happy and that "My experience with Haber PA are fantastic" and more I could not possibly ask. Take care, be safe and well and welcome to the #HaberPA family. Gratefully, MAH/Esq.

truly one of a kind!
Honestly, I cannot write a review that can come close to or equate to the level of greatness that Michael Haber has attained. I am truly grateful for the second chance at life my family and I have received as a result of hiring Mr. Haber. As most people know, there is a vast sea of attorneys and find...
Dear Katelin, Wow, just wow! I reply to every client review but in contemplating this one I actually had to reread your fervent words - thrice. They are so echoing in my mind that I am almost ("almost") speechless. Apart from offering you my heartfelt gratitude the thing that I most want to say to you is that your review has filled me with joy, pride and hope (as while most folks whom I represent enjoy their lives after it is precious few who get to the place where you are now from where you were when we first met). In order to give the folks who read this some context, this review was me hearing from a client who, when we first met, was at rock bottom and who, years later, has managed to build a fantastic life. When I called to thank you for this unsolicited review (#HaberPA's 209th Client Review on AVVO) you advised me that since the charges were dismissed you've managed to secure professional licensing from the State, establish a new family business (which is thriving - even during CoVid) and have had 3 children. Taking nothing away from your account of and praise for the role which I played in your prosperity, I am well-aware that mine was merely a small part of your exceptional tale. While I'm proud - elated even - to know that I served you well (according to you perhaps even exceptionally well... thank you again for that) and perhaps paved the beginnings of a new path for you to follow, there can be no arguing the fact that it was you and your spouse who actually walked the walk... just as there can be no doubt that I could neither be any prouder nor happier of you both for your own personal accomplishments. Again, I thank you so very much for reaching out and sharing your success story with the folks and I hope that your narrative serves as an inspiration to others that with dedication, effort, persistence and perseverance most anything is achievable. Wishing your family continued happiness, health, joy, prosperity and continued success. Earnestly, MAH/Esq.

Outstanding Job!!
All I can say is wow! Mr. Haber did a fantastic job on my case. I can speak from experience with the dealing with other lawyers that Mr. Haber was very patient, sufficient, and will organized. He kept me in the loop on every step in my case for the past year. Anytime I had any questions or concerns h...
Dear Ashley, Thank you so very much for your kind words and for authoring #HaberPA's 208th Client Review on AVVO! Being easily accessible (by phone, email or on the internet) and always engaging in open, honest, direct and frequent communication with the client are some of the key hallmarks which makes #HaberPA a "boutique" criminal defense law firm and which we absolutely cherish, and so your praise in this regard is most gratifying. But we also treasure our initial and heartfelt desire to come to understand the Client and her/his situation, to adopt the Client's interests as our own, to identify and secure realistic litigation objectives and to quote and honor reasonable fees (in writing), which we also accomplished in your case. As no one knows who you are and so as to add some context so that the folks understand the "what" of your case, you were charged with Grand Theft of $29,353.64 in the form of accepting a variety of overpayments from FL-DCF. You were cash strapped and apart from a financial inability to repay that sum you also disagreed with the dollar amount claimed by the State. Understanding your inability to defend yourself against an opponent with unlimited resources (e.g. you could not afford to hire a forensic accountant, much less to finance a trial) and your stated desire to negotiate a quick plea which did not involve jail, we committed ourselves to work together at vetting the 1,000 or so pages of discovery that the State provided in an effort to chisel the amount down as much as possible and secure - at worst - a term of probation with a withhold of adjudication (no conviction). But, as it turned out, our "rapid investigation" turned into an almost year long email and telephone battle with DCF which resulted in an admission by the State that you had been over-billed by $20,900.92 and that your actual debt was $8,452.72. During this year you were able to ferret away a few bucks and I was able to convince the State to permit you to prepay $3,500.00, thus dropping your debt to $4,952.72, an amount which was under the $5,000.00 threshold for diversion. You are now enrolled in diversion with the only ("only") conditions being repayment of the $4,952.72 in no less than 6 months time (i.e. once the $4,952.72 is repayed then the State will dismiss the case and you can expunge it from your record, although this cannot be done is less than 6 months time), with no community service hours, no classes, no other strings attached. Even though it took both more time and effort than we agreed I did not hesitate in honoring the original fee that was quoted, and in your instance (i.e. knowing something about you, your family and your situation) I am especially happy to have been able to go the extra miles. I am thrilled for you in terms of your case status, I am most gratified by your sharing such kind words with the folks and I look forward to expunging your case sometime in the next 6-12 months. Wishing you and yours all the best! MAH/Esq.

Mr.
My son is a college student who was in Miami over the summer. He had never been in any trouble with the law before and so his mother and I were shocked and saddened when we found out that he had been arrested. Without any connections or experience I turned to the internet for information. I search...
Dear Anonymous Parent, Thank you for taking the time to author and share your experience with the folks in the form of #HaberPA's 207th Client Review on AVVO. This review is so succinct and well written that it's actually challenging for me to add anything relevant, but, I am a lawyer and so I will try. :-) When one encounters something by chance that seems like it was meant to be, then it could be "kismet", or destiny, and so it was in this instance. There are a lot of criminal defense lawyers in the Miami area, some are excellent and others are far worse than old-time snake oil salesmen (especially those which pay big bucks to advertise flashy websites claiming amazing skills for what are in reality nothing more - and usually less than - mediocre quality attorneys who must cover their monthly marketing budget). #HaberPA does not pay to advertise on the internet so if one does an unspecific Google search for local criminal lawyers then one will have to scroll through a large school of paid ballyhoo before getting to #HaberPA; but, if and when you do locate us then what you will find is a boutique law firm which not only competently handles our limited caseload but which takes the greatest of pride in it's customer service. In 2021 #HaberPA will enter it's 30th year of exclusively criminal defense and related litigation practice and in hindsight here are three (3) observations from it's sometimes humble proprietor: 1) Over the course of those three (3) decades #HaberPA has an unblemished and time proven record with no history whatsoever of any form of professional discipline; 2) We have consistently strived to develop, grow, learn and to amplify our services, both as courtroom litigators and in regard to being an active partner to our clientele; and 3) We are entirely committed to being the most candid, frank, open, honest, sincere, trustworthy, diligent, responsible and accountable attorneys with whom anyone will ever work. I believe that your having found and hired #HaberPA to represent your son was pure providence, and I also believe that your most sincere, kind and descriptive Client Review is unadulterated karma. That said I am elated to know that #HaberPA reached our goals in your son's case (not only in terms of closure but also in regard to customer service) and I am most grateful for your publishing #HaberPA's # 207th Client Review on AVVO. Fondest wishes, MAH/Esq.
