So that the folks understand, I had answered your question on AVVO and you followed up by sending me a few e-mails seeking more detailed and specific advise and information. Because you are in MN with several serious MN issues, and as I know nothing of MN law or procedure, I was unable to provide you with concrete and legally sound advise. We were able to intelligently volley around various concepts, thoughts, ideas and suggestions, but all were qualified by the fact that you must seek, and that I must defer to, advise from a proximate and licensed MN lawyer. Regardless, and as always, this exchange was accomplished both with great pleasure and without any expectation for a quid pro quo (i.e. I didn't anticipate your kind review and recommendation... but I accept it humbly and gratefully). I advised you that I would need personal information to look up your case, you sent it, I look, diagnosed your situation and provided you with both a full accounting and all of the guidance that I could furnish. Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your direct, succinct and kind review. As you know (and for the benefit of other folks who may read this), when you hire a lawyer you are entering into a relationship, and like any relationship, open and honest lines of communication are essential. I pledge to keep my clients fully informed right from the start (discussing what's happened, what's happening and what events - including how and why - I plan on occurring prospectively) by providing the client with copies of all exhibits in the case, forwarding, cc'ing or bcc'ing them on all correspondence and being readily (albeit reasonably) available to the client (through my office, on my cell - by text or call, through my website, by email, on Facebook, through my YouTube channel and even vis-a-vis Twitter) to field questions and to provide answers (noting that this continues even after the case has closed). I am glad that you had a positive enough experience with me to have authored this, my 122nd 5-star AVVO client review. Going into each case I tell prospective client's that, apart from achieving their specific litigation objective, is my personal goal to earn their positive client review at the conclusion of the case. It is no mistake that I intentionally use the word "earn" as I am painfully aware that you almost certainly will neither take the time not expend the effort at taking praise to pen (more accurately taking fingers to keyboard) unless I have come through and performed precisely as I had promised.
