Positive Hard Working Lawyer!
Michael was an amazing lawyer! He got down to business and worked hard for me since day one of him taking my case. He kept me updated on everything about the case, he would always answer my calls and questions in a timely manner. If it wasn't for Michael, I would have been very stressed about my case...
Hi Amanda. Thank you for both your kind words and positive review. Your case was interesting because it involved a great deal of strategy. There were legal issues ("stand your ground" / self-defense), factual issues (your alleged victim provably unlawfully seeking compensation for a pre-existing medical condition) and practical issues (you having been a tourist when you were unfortunately arrested in FL and being out of State while I prepared your defense). Please know that your constant availability and meaningful participation, coupled with your flying down and preparing for trial testimony, were significant factors in getting the State to decide to dismiss their (bogus) case against you at the 11th hour. Congratulations on your victory. I am happy to have been able to have helped you achieve justice.

Not that I do not laud my experience and knowledge, but I do take particular pride in being a lawyer who "will always get back to you as quickly as possible to answer your questions and/or concerns" and who will "return your phone calls timely, respond to a text and or e-mail". Communication (honest communication) is one of the keys to any successful relationship, and attorney-client is no different than any other. So no, I will not "not sugar coat your situation" (or, as I like to say, "I won't blow sunshine up your skirt / pant leg")... What I will do is take a comprehensive look at the facts and the circumstances of the case, then apply my experience and the law to lay out the options as I see them, help you to choose a reasonable litigation objective and then make every reasonable effort at securing a dismissal, suppression of evidence or an acquittal by any possible factual, legal, procedural or substantive means or mechanism. Worked Hard for me
Mr. Haber worked so hard that I got the best results, I messed up but he helped me so much, I am so thankful for all his hard work, i got the best possible out come.

I wish that you would have offered just enough information for me to have known who you are and so that I could have addressed your case (without revealing anything about your identity). Still, I am grateful for your taking the time to acknowledge my "hard work" and effort at achieving your "best possible" outcome. My primary objective in all cases is the client's complete satisfaction with my legal services, and this only happens though hard work, open lines of communication, keeping the client fully informed, encouraging participation (to the extent that a given client wishes) and then going full bore at the government in an effort to achieve the agreed litigation objective. Given this, and although I don't know who you are or what case yours was, the fact that we did achieve your goal necessarily means that I also achieved mine. So, congratulations and thank you again!

An Amazing Lawyer

Thank you very much for the props and for your recommendation Jorge. In all honesty your case was much more difficult for you than it was for me. After evaluating and fully vetting all of the evidence in your case (police reports, dash cam video, DUI paperwork, arresting officer's personnel file, etc.) I merely laid out the options; at that point it was you who had a tough choice to make (one with clear equities on both sides). On the one hand you had the option of completing DUI-diversion (jumping through a series of hoops designed to allow you to earn and guarantee a dismissal of your DUI) and on the other hand you had a very good trial case from a defense perspective (no breath, reasonable performance on FST's and all based upon a routine speeding stop). The choice was one of pride, willingness to run risk (a permanent criminal conviction and jail time) and cost (financial, emotional and physical), and it all boiled down to whether or not you were willing to gamble your liberty and record. I know that the choice to enter into diversion was a tough call for you (and it was entirely your call), but now, in the end, you are on the road to having your arrest record sealed, your DUI was dismissed and you are 100% free. ¡Felicitaciones!
