GREAT ATTORNEY!!!!

My child was facing many judicial challenges where my child could have been incarcerated for many years. Michael worked his magic with prosecutor and the judge. My child did go to jail for several months. When the sentence was completed my child resumed their life without any probation.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your kind review. I hope that you do not mind but I am going to clarify the situation a little for the benefit of the reader. In this instance your unnamed son was on his 2nd VOP (Violation of Probation). He was being concurrently supervised on 2 separate felony cases in front of a notoriously tough Judge. I was not his original lawyer. I was brought in when he VOP'd the 1st time. In both VOP's your son faced up to 25 years in prison. The first time we managed to get him a (rare) probation bond and then to get his probation reinstated, but the Judge took your son into custody on the 2nd VOP (refusing a bond). Due to the combination of A) the legally and factually undefendable nature of the allegations and B) the Judge's clearly stated intention to "punish" your son, we put forth a mitigation defense - meaning that we engaged in calculated plea negotiations. The bottom line is that your son spent almost 2 months in custody before we were able to secure a 270 day plea agreement (with credit for the nearly 2 months served, netting him about 210 days). The beauty of this result is that 1) your son did not go to state prison (not for 1 day much less up to 25 years), 2) your son stays local (so you can visit as you wish with minimum inconvenience), 3) your son will earn more gain time and likely get released sooner (you must serve 85% in state prison whereas here "in County" he may serve as little as 66%) and (perhaps most importantly) 4) when he finishes his sentence your son will no longer be on probation (which is an invitation for failure in many cases, your son's included). All of that said again, I appreciate your kind review and I am very happy that I was able to accomplish our litigation objective (i.e. keeping your son out of state prison - and beating our own private - albeit not confidentially, just internal - "over / under" of 364 days by about 27%), BUT... it wasn't magic. It was preparation, planning and being able to effectuate a comprehensive stratagem formed from a global perspective... a course of action that only came to fruition because you and your husband steadfastly supported your son (as every parent should do but, sadly, many do not). So I thank you - not only for thanking me but for your patience and commitment to helping me to help your son, who will likely be home in time for Thanksgiving. Wishing your family all of the best! Fondly, MAH/Esq

Dear Christopher, Thank you for your kind review. As you have just attested, I have striven to make Michael A. Haber, P.A. a boutique ("boutique" meaning "a small company that offers highly specialized services") law practice that custom tailors its services to meet the needs of the client. This incorporates such things as (but is not limited to) doing my best to meet clients at their convenience (as opposed to mine), in locations and at times which are mutually convenient (sometimes at their homes, places of business, independent ground and even at odd hours), structuring fees to reasonably accommodate the parties, paying careful and comprehensive consideration to both micro and macro issues in a given case so as to be able to agree upon and effort toward achieving a viable litigation objective and, perhaps most importantly, making myself personally available to the client as close to 24/7 as is possible. That said, your praise is both heartfelt and touched mine, and so, and again, I thank you. Please remember that I am available to you and to yours at anytime. Fondly, MAH/Esq

Professional and Knowledgable

Michael Haber is truly a professional in many ways - he was on every issue. As an out of state parent it was a pleasure to have him represent our son. No one wants to get to the point In life where you need legal representation for a family situation. Thank God there are people like Mike who know wh...at to do. Thank you can never describe all that he did for us!

Dear Brian, Thank you very much for you kind words. I felt your pain when we spoke. Your son was initially unrepresented and you were 1,000 miles away. Having a boy of my own (and having served in this capacity for many similarly situated parents) I was well aware that you absolutely needed to know - to be 1,000% secure - that your boy would be in competent, caring and capable hands. I am honored that you permitted mine to be those hands and I am elated that we were able to knock your son's case out of the court system (literally). I wish you and your son (and the rest of your family) the best of luck and success, and I thank you again for both your leap of faith and for your after-the-fact praise. Fondest wishes, MAH/Esq

Fantastic Lawyer

I would highly recommend Michael Haber as an attorney. He is very efficient and intelligent, and he knows the law. He represented me in a case that had me very worried, and he prevailed. I thank him very much. I have a lot of confidence in him.

Thank you for your kind review Richard. You hired me in the very end of January, 2017 I informed you that there was a 90 day speedy trial window in your case and promised to wrap it up before May, 2017. You were extremely concerned and I consistently reassured you that our plan - the plan that we painstakingly hashed out and agreed to before you hired me - would work. And it did. We peppered the State with motions, forcing them to take a continuance, we were set for trial yesterday (which was day #90), we were in Court, on time, with our witnesses, ready to take the State to the mattresses, and one of the State's witnesses was late. The Prosecutor groveled, the Judge gave the State an extra 5 minutes and when their witness still was not yet in the courtroom the Judge denied another continuance to the State, effectively forcing a dismissal of your case. Sometimes it's only a chess game and other times it's no game at all; but in your case (as in all cases that I am counsel), more than a quarter century of experience affords us the ability to A) play the game masterfully and B) have a rock solid contingency plan in place, being ready for full blown Braveheart-esque battle. Congratulations my friend. Thanks for your leap of faith. Wishing you and your mom all the best. Fondly, MAH/Esq.

Fair, straight forward and clear!

Mr Haber was fair, straight forward and clear from the beginning. He set the right expectation from the beginning and also quoted a fair rate. Very glad he represented me in front of the court system. I highly recommend his services!

Thank you anonymous. I wish that I could offer some more insight into our relationship (naturally without disclosing any identifying details) but you have covered your tracks quite well and are truly anonymous, even to me. Regardless, I appreciate both your time in posting a 5-Star review and the props for my honesty, integrity, reasonableness, responsibility and straight-forwardness. Those characteristics are among my top goals, apparently, I achieved them in your case and I can't hope for much more. Wishing you all of the best in luck and success and thanking you again. Fondly, MAH/Esq
