Best decision to hire Mr. Haber
Lives change in matter of minutes and the unexpected and uncertainty takes over and you begin to look at the future with despair with a resolution that seem far out of reach. That was my precise situation years ago, when I found myself on the wrong side of the law and needed legal representation. How...
Thank you for your kind words Ana. Yes, our legal system can be quiet messy, especially to the untrained eye; but there is rhyme and reason to be found, most especially if one knows where to look. I take great pride in my (now 115 AVVO) client reviews, and I know that there are 2 absolute certainties about them: 1) Each and every client review has been 100% earned (no one takes the time to think about, then author and submit a review unless I have performed as advertised) and, as you have so eloquently pointed out, 2) Prospective clients read, and can rely upon, what my actual clients have reported about their experience with my law office. I am elated that you were "Happy AVVO Customer # 115" ( :-) ) and I thank you for taking the time to share your experience with # 116, et al. Fondly ==> MAH/Esq.

He gave me some really good free advice
Mr. Huber gave me some really insightful free advice about some case dynamics that I asked about. Some rather perplexing things came up, and he gave me his read. His comments were not a generalized, brush-off type response and were genuine, insightful, and knowledgeable based on his experience. When ...
Dear Guy. Thank you very much for your incredibly kind words. So that anyone reading this knows, we have never met. I merely took the time to provide you a detailed answer (apparently an extremely helpful one at that) to a question that you had posted right here on AVVO. As of this moment I have answered 12,358 Criminal Defense related questions on AVVO and, while many people say thanks, and lots of folks hit the "helpful" or even the "best answer" button, I can count on one hand the number of folks who took the time to provide feedback (for the benefit of others) as you have done; on the other hand, what I do get, with incredible frequency, is email and phone calls and responses from disgruntled Askers, who apparently feel compelled to take their frustration out on me over the facts that A) they have found themselves in a pickle (most oftentimes entirely due to their own poor decision making) and that, coupled with my advise on the situation, B) I choose to tell them the truth rather than to blow sunshine up their pant legs or skirts. Believe me, unfortunately, receiving overwhelming negative criticism from ingrates (you have no idea just how nasty some of these folks can be) reminds me of the adage that "no good deed goes unpunished" and has me asking myself why I even bother taking the time (answering 12,358 questions has taken a looooooooooong time) to do so; but then I receive something like this and, please believe, it completely recharges - in fact it overflows - my batteries. So, again, I offer you my heartfelt gratitude (both personally and o/b/o the thousands of folks who should benefit from my prospective time, effort and energy spent on AVVO) and wish you the best of luck and success. Fondly ==> MAH/Esq.

Best lawyer I have ever hired!!
Mike Haber is the best attorney I have ever hired. I was on probation for 5 years and violated with a dirty urine. I was looking at a minimum of 30 months in Florida state prison, and I didn't know what to do. I ditched my prior counsel and decided to hire Mike. I didn't even do any jail time. He was...
Thank you for your kind words Fred, but and for the benefit of the folks who may read this, it wasn't quite as simple as you stated ("I was on probation for 5 years and violated with a dirty urine"). Yes, you were on probation for 5 years and violated with a dirty urine, but you were on concurrent probation in 2 separate felony cases (including violent crimes and narcotics cases), each containing multiple felony charges, and all of this before a notoriously tough Judge who had already once given you a break on a previous probation violation. That said, we went on offense, big time, got "aggressive and got the job done!!!", and in no small part because of your, and your family's, steadfast effort at painstakingly complying with my strategy. So, while I thank you for your excellent review, I also take my hat off to you, because you are the one who actually did all of the hard work (coming up with strategy is infinitely easier than actually, and religiously, following the strategy that I am able to conjure) and it is you who earned your freedom. So congratulations, thank you again and I wish you the best of luck and success (not only in completing your reinstated probation but also afterward). Fondly, --> M

Very informing!!
Provided great advice!
Thank you very kindly for your brief but to the point words Nate. I am honored and thrilled that you were pleased enough with my information to author an unexpected review. I am on AVVO to charitably offer assistance, usually generic, and do not expect anything in return. As with many Samaritan acts this is often times a thankless pursuit, so when I receive feedback like yours it truly motivates and encourages me to want to offer more. Thank you again!

A friend and a very trusted lawyer
I have known Mike Haber for about 10 years, but prior to 2016 I only knew him socially. Our kids played together in the neighborhood park and we would sit and chat about things regularly. It had been several years since we had seen one another but, regretfully, I recently found myself on the wrong ...
Craig, thank you (and you're welcome). Sincerely. Your review was so perfectly written (even citing my tag-line about being a "boutique" law firm) that I am almost (almost) at a loss for words. There is nothing more flattering than a rave client review, except perhaps for one that is authored by a "friend turned client". I told you that which I always tell my clients (and my friends and my 11 y/o son - just as my father ingrained into me) that if you can do 2 things then you will be just fine: 1) Do what you are supposed to do, how and when you are supposed to do it; and 2) Don't do anything that you are not supposed to do. And you did. And you also did not. And so we would not be where we are now had you failed to steadfastly listen to and heed that advise (most especially when you did so over your inclinations to act contrarily). I am absolutely elated for you and for your family, I wish you all the best and I am most grateful for your client review. Fondly, MAH/Esq
