Dear Erik, Thank you so very much for your kind words (in the form of #HaberPA's 206th Client Review on AVVO). Apart from being proud of the job which we managed to accomplish in your situation (yes, "we", as effective criminal defense is a team sport which requires synchronized performances by both the client and counsel) I am most proud to 1) have been hired by you coming directly out of a thoroughly lousy experience with your abysmal prior legal counsel (that took a leap of faith by you and for that I am grateful, but I am even more honored and pleased that) 2) you both recognized and shared with the folks your experience with my professionalism, knowledge, skill, availability and performance. These are the traits which makes #HaberPA a "boutique" law firm and of which we are most proud. I won't go into any detail about your case (cases actually, you had 2 of them, simultaneously, in different courtrooms and before different Judges) but I will say that your prior lawyers are precisely the sort of attorneys who give all lawyers a bad name (kinda like the rouge "bad cop" who generates disdain for the group). It is not a stretch to say that you were effectively conned and deceived into a false sense of security by modern day snake oil salesman who quickly took your money but then failed to provide any competent service, and that is inexcusable. Bad lawyers reflect poorly on good lawyers, it's critical to call them out and I hope that you will do so (be it on social media or in the form of a proper complaint / grievance to the Florida Bar Association). In any event I want to express my heartfelt gratitude once again for your most meaningful client review and to remind you that while we may not be in an attorney-client relationship, as of now we're in a far superior relationship... we're friends. Wishing you all the best. Earnestly, MAH/Esq.

My experience
My experience with Mr. Harber was smooth and clear to the point. He was clear always when explaining things to me and if I did not understand he would explain things to me as many times I needed to have things cleared. I recommend him for all criminal defense cases. I had a great outcome with my case...
Dear Amanda, Thank you very much for your kind words (in the form of #HaberPA's 205th Client Review on AVVO). Communication is an absolutely essential component of any functional attorney-client relationship (to any relationship actually) and I take great pride in making myself accessible, available and in maintaining open lines of communication with my clients. Without going into detail (and so the folks understand), you reached out to me long after your case had been closed to ask my advise about applications that you were filling out which required information about your aged and closed case. You had concerns about how to answer, what to say and, more importantly what not to say. I asked you to scan and send me the applications, we gathered necessary and relevant documents and then together we structured factually and legally accurate responses, together with a contingency plan just in case there is any follow-up questioning by the review boards. I was happy to represent you on the case, jubilant to have secured "a great outcome" and delighted to have reconnected and taken the time to assist you with subsequent and tangential "housekeeping" matters. Thank you again for your kind time and words and I wish you the best of luck in both the application process and your future endeavors. Earnestly, MAH/Esq.

Dear Juan. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with #HaberPA with the folks. Without getting into details I want to gently expand on your Client Review (#HaberPA's 203rd on AVVO). First, you found me on a Google search. You had many options but you chose #HaberPA. Why? I like to think that it was because of the information that you gathered before we spoke, coupled with the nature of our conversation and then dovetailed with the information that I sent you so as to assist you in understanding your circumstances, to wit: I forwarded you a few of #HaberPA's VideoFAQs which were both applicable to your situation and which contained relevant and easy to understand information. (As an aside #HaberPA's VideoFAQ presently has 375 short, creative and informative Criminal Defense, Criminal Law & Criminal Procedure, DUI, BUI, Domestic Violence, Crime Victim's Rights, Evidence and Seal & Expunge Webisodes - all 375 of which can be found on my AVVO profile - with more than 528,000 views and 1,575 subscribers and we welcome your subscription at www.youtube.com/c/michaelhaberlaw ) Second, we were able to close your case (all of your citations, both criminal traffic and infractions) with dismissals and remotely, i.e. without the need for you to appear either in person or digitally. Finally, and as to the issue of communication, #HaberPA takes great pride in our accessibility and commitment to communicate with our clientele. We proudly boast that "#HaberPA has your "6", 24-7-365, 360°", and we mean it quite literally. Clients are cc'd on all correspondence and copies of all documents / information are sent to the Client upon receipt such that you have a real time and complete copy of your file handy. Further, during this pandemic or not, #HaberPA is accessible by phone, text, email, electronic messaging, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom or otherwise. We either take your calls (texts, messages, whatever) or we return them, STAT. All of that said let me double back to the beginning and once again express my gratitude to you for both your leap of faith in hiring and trusting #HaberPA to handle your legal needs and also for your kind words and heartfelt recommendation. Gratefully, MAH/Esq

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for authoring #HaberPA's 204th Client Review on AVVO. No matter how a given client finds us we are always conscientious of performing professionally, diligently, accurately and with integrity, but when we have been specifically referred by someone else we also take special care to present and produce so as to reflect exceptionally well on the referring source. Noting that all criminal cases are serious, thankfully your daughter's case was (in the grand scheme of the criminal justice system) a relatively insignificant one and so in her case it was easy and honest to provide entirely genuine and earnest assurance and comfort (as opposed to other more complicated and formidable cases where such assurance and comfort may not be quite as heartfelt...). I am elated that we were able to secure a dismissal within just 6 weeks time and we will now move on to the next step of expunging your daughter's record, thus restoring her good name and making her once again righteous within the system. I am grateful for your kind words, for you choosing to share your experience with #HaberPA with the folks and of course for your most positive and complimentary commentary and recommendation. Thank you again. Fondly, MAH/Esq.

No Probation
After I finished 1 of my 2 years of probation I asked my PO about early terminating but she told me that if I wanted to get off probation then the the Judge had to be the one to do it and she suggested that I call a lawyer. I found Mike Haber and talked to him about filing the motion. Mike said he'...
Dear Anonymous, Thank you very much for authoring #HaberPA's 202nd Client Review on AVVO! I am grateful for your kind words and have a few observations to make about about your situation. 1) You are lucky that your PO gave you solid advise. Many a probationer asks their PO legal questions (e.g. seeking early termination, converting or avoiding community service hours, permission to move or travel) without realizing that POs have two basic responsibilities, to wit: to supervise and to violate. There are precious few POs who step outside of that box and offer advise, much less are willing to actually "help". While on probation you should remember that your PO is the boss of you but your Judge is boss of your PO and so when you want something modified or terminated then the person you should turn to is your lawyer (who, if it is #HaberPA, is always there to help you to accomplish your lawful objective). 2) Right now, during Covid, Courts - criminal court anyhow - are basically closed with only emergency and the must fundamental of matters being addressed. Still, with the right facts and circumstances, even during a pandemic skilled and experienced counsel (again such as #HaberPA, which has just under 30 years of criminal defense litigation experience) can get things accomplished. 3) Maintaining records is clutch, and because you had your sentencing documents handy and were able to put me in touch with your PO you armed me with the tools that I needed to get the job done. 4) From your initial consultation with me (a telephone call which was followed by a FaceTime discussion and several emails during the course of one afternoon) until the time that we received a signed Court Order successfully early terminating your probation, precisely one week had passed, but three of those days were me waiting to receive a response to any of my repeated telephone messages and emails to your PO and two of those days were a Saturday and a Sunday. So, in reality, it took less than 48 hours for me to locate and reach the correct Assistant State Attorney, to provide them with proof positive of your eligibility for early termination, to secure the government's permission (in writing) to submit an Agreed Order, to prepare the appropriate paperwork, to transmit it to the Judge and in turn to receive the executed, filed and clock-in Court Order. And that is precisely how #HaberPA works... clean, efficient and, as you indicated, for "a fair fee". Congratulations on regaining your freedom. Wishing you and yours all the best in happiness and health and thanking you again for you kind time and words and for sharing the same with the folks! Gratefully, MAH/Esq.
