Knowledgeable and professional, true advocate

Jay handled my case from beginning to end with nothing on his mind but achieving the desired outcome. He never made promises and I always felt like he was telling it to me straight. His knowledge and professionalism made me feel confident that I was getting the best representation possible. But when ...we actually got into the courtroom, Jay really impressed. He knows the OUI space and all its nuances better than anyone and that showed through in all his interactions with DAs, clerks, judges, police officers etc. He was able to get the best possible outcome in my case and I would recommend him to anyone.

OUI

Despite enduring a 9-month long process, I am so glad I chose to work with Attorney Milligan. James is a well-spoken, well-researched man that shows up to court ready to win. Although I had moments of doubt at times, I truly could not have been happier with the work he did for me.  Not only was Ja...mes a 10/10 in court, but he helped me understand every step of the process and was realistic throughout it all. Even when I felt unsure, he was able to step up and work everything out in my favor. Seriously worth every penny! I plan to keep Attorney Milligan in my contacts (though I hope not to have to use him again!)  If you are looking for someone to represent you in an OUI case, look no further. You really could not ask for a better lawyer….Not GUILTY

Thank you Jay

Coming up on six years (3/2017) since I was charged with OUI after a car accident. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about how much Jay Milligan helped me get through my situation. From the time I called, the various meetings we had, the preparation for court dates and ultimately the ...trial date, Jay was a complete professional. Jay was understanding and compassionate but also firm and direct when needed. Jay's paralegal Karen was also very helpful and professional. Jay's expert understanding of the DUI laws, the nuances and dynamics of the DMV and court system put me in the position to win my case. The day of the trial we were ready to go with a jury, but due to a shortage of jurors we went with a judge only trial. Jay's experience and expertise was immediately evident as he presented his case, questioned the witnesses and in his closing arguments. He outworked and outshined the prosecution's case which resulted in a not guilty decision for me. I did plead to a motor vehicle violation as part of the decision but that was something Jay discussed well before trial and I was prepared for that possibility. I have and will continue to refer people if they need an OUI attorney because Jay is the best.

Beyond expectation

Absolutely and simply put, an amazing attorney to work with, inside and out. Office is quick with response, questions and actions. Confident, affirmative and fact based style put my mind at the best level of ease, during a process that can be destructive to one's self health. Terrific representation!

Jay was great. He took over for another attorney and did what he could to repair the damage done by the prior attorney. Jay always knew what to do and did exactly the right thing in the trial, saying no more or less than he needed to say to secure a not guilty on the OUI and the negligent driving cha...rges.
