not guilty

I cant say enough good things about what jay did for me. my wife and I went out for dinner last summer I was pulled over for my headlights being off I had mistakenly switched them off the automatic position earlier that day looking for the wiper switch. this was my wifes new car and I hardly ever dro...ve it. we did have a couple of drinks with dinner so the officer said he detected alcohol on my breath . he had me do some sobriety test witch I passed except for a couple I could not do because of a hip replacement a few years prior. so he arrested me for oui. they had brought up 2 oui from over thirty years ago when I was young and stupid. as you can imagine I was nervous about getting jail time. from the first meeting with jay he kept me confident through the whole process. needless to say jay got me a not guilty finding. he is a great attorney and really knows his stuff. couldn't be more thankful thanks jay p.s LOL had to pay a $5 fee for my headlights being off

Saved my life

Jay Milligan saved my life. As a first time offender, I was charged with an aggravated DUI charge after another person was injured in an accident I was involved in, which is a felony in Massachusetts. I was looking at a mandatory six to twelve months in state prison. Jay helped to facilitate an agree...ment with the victim on the pending civil case I was also involved in and used that as leverage to convince the district attorney to reduce the charges against me, effectively eliminating any mandatory prison sentence. He was also able to negotiate an arrangement that allowed me to continue to work, attend meetings and counseling. He worked tirelessly to promote my interests and truly don't know how to thank him enough. I can now begin to work on rebuilding my life after this horrible mistake and am grateful for his guidance throughout the legal process.

Expert DUI Attorney! Caring, Professional, and beyond Prepared. (3rd OUI)

I was arrested and charged with a third offense OUI and leaving the scene after causing property damage. I was devastated over the five year license loss for refusal of the breath test and the possibility of five months mandatory jail time with an additional eight years loss of license. Hiring the ...right attorney was one of the biggest decisions of my life. After doing some research, Jay Milligan had the most experience and best reputation. After our first consultation, I felt like he was the right guy and his fees were fair given the severity of the case. Throughout the process of going to trial, Jay and his team fought for me every step of the way, including challenging the 5 year suspension for my refusing the breath test, which we won and I got my license back during the pendency of the case, this was a very unique bonus. The real challenge was wining at the trial. My honest opinion about Jay after sitting in the defense chair watching him at trial is he is truly very experienced, aggressive and takes his work very seriously. It was clear he had my best interests in mind and truly cared. The district attorney also took this very seriously and was pushing back with multiple police witnesses and civilian witnesses. Throughout the cross examination of these witnesses Jay was able to open and punch holes through their testimony. Getting to the Trial took a long time and I knew it could go either way for me, but I was also confident because I knew that Jay was prepared and we had done everything we could have done to win the case. I was found not guilty on both charges after a jury trial. I would recommend Jay and his team to anyone without hesitation in this kind of serious position. Their professionalism and experience in this area surpasses any OUI attorney out there and the results of my trial speak for themselves.
