Amazing attorney!

Jay Milligan represented me in my first OUI case as well as a “leaving the scene” case by the state police. Jay was confident, patient and very accessible and got me the best possible outcomes for both cases! I am so grateful I found James Milligan and highly recommend him to anyone that needs help... with these types of matters!

OUI 1st Offense

I consulted with Mr. Milligan regarding taking on a 1st offense OUI case. My case ended up getting sorted out before I was able to hire him but I was blown away with the time he took to read through my police report, explain things to me, and talk with me before I even hired him. Such a genuine perso...n and definitely someone to turn to when weighing your options for an OUI and finding out more information. I thank you so much for your time and anyone who needs help with a case I would trust him!

Jay is the one and only one to help with your case - Trust him

I found myself in a situation that I never thought I would be in - Arrested for OUI - I was panicking, stressed out, and beyond upset and lost - Jay was recommended by a friend and the minute I spoke with him on the phone (at 7 am day after arrest) he helped put my mind at ease - he explained what wo...uld happen when I went to my court appearance that morning - He told me what to say and what to expect. He was always there to answer any and all questions that I had ridiculous or not.....he never judged me, he was so calm and positive and factual with me - He knows the law and he knows how to represent anyone in this same situation - He explained everything and was so patient with all that I asked of him. He was especially patient with my tears that seemed to just keep flowing ;) - knowing that I could not drive to meet him in person after may license was taken for the 30 days after arrest he went out of his way to meet me near my home, on a SATURDAY - I mean, really? This is just the type of person he is, thoughtful considerate and so caring - Not to mention that he is fair, honest and smart - The months leading up to my court date were stressful - A few days before my court date Jay called me just to ask me how I was doing - how kind is that?? He put my mind at ease by telling me that he would be with me every step of the way and would do his very best to get the best possible outcome at my trial - Day of trial we had to decide whether I would go with a jury trial or go before the judge only and waive the jury trial - i was panicked, I didn't know what to do and he calmly explained how it would all work - Together we made the decision to go with a bench trial - I had confidence in him but of course was worried and sick over it hoping we made the correct decision. I didn't testify at my trial - we talked about it and decided together that it wasn't in may best interest - Jay's expertise and his questioning of the State Police Trooper that arrested me blew me away - I sat there in awe of how Jay questioned this guy - He was firm but very direct with him asking him all sorts of questions and questioning him on most every detail of his not so detailed police report - I was just amazed that this awesome lawyer was doing this all for me - I could not have asked for a better verdict as I was found Not Guilty of OUI and it was because of how Jay handled this case - I am forever grateful and indebted to Jay - If you find yourself or someone you know needing an OUTSTANDING lawyer and all around good person please call Jay Milligan - I promise you will not be disappointed. I will never ever forget Jay and how he took care of me with professionalism, kindness and knowledge of the law.
