A straight forward and Knowledgeable Lawyer

In Nov 2010, I got arrested in South Boston and charged with OUI. My car got a flat in the tunnel and someone called the cops on me and wrote a statement that I had been driving all over the road. The staties came and arrested me on the spot, after a few hrs in the cell, I gave in to the Breathalyzer... and blew a shameful 0.26. It's been a long journey since. When I met with Attorney Milligan, he laid everything on the table and never withheld any information that was related to my case. He got my case, filed a motion to dismiss, Motion got denied- case got transferred to the Boston Municipal Court. Still Attorney Milligan let me know that time was the most important factor in my case. Everything he could have done for me, he did. He was very reasonable in his cost and all additional costs aside from original agreement were explained beforehand. A yr+ later, my case got dismissed since the 'witness' never came to trial (twice) and the cops really never saw me driving. I learned my lesson though, but will refer Attorney Milligan to anyone in this situation without reservations

we recommend this lawyer to everyone

Hello, my son lives in California and needed to handle a situation in Mass. He was not in the position to fly there and handle it. A friend of mine referred Mr. Milligan and from that phone call on made my son's life so much less stressful. Att. Milligan took the bull by the horns and followed thr...ough with every step needed in order to release the hold on my son's license. He even personnally sent to the DMV when the hold was not off in a timely manner. My son and I are very grateful to Att, Milligan and we recommend his services to anyone in need of help. Subject Matter Expert

From my first phone call to the last hand shake in court, Attorney James Milligan handled my case with the utmost professionalism. He truly cares about his client's concerns and works diligently to achieve success, James Milligan saved my career, treated me with respect and made every effort possible... to win my case. When I was charged with OUI I felt there was no way possible I could win this case. After speaking with James, I realized that if anyone could win this, it would be him. I was very fortunate to have found this attorney. He is a subject matter expert in his field, his fee's were also reasonable. He is very personable and very respected by his peers in the courthouse. Successful DUI License Defense

Attorney Milligan was successful in getting the board of appeals to modify the registry's decision in regards to the acquisition of a hardship license. The majority of DUI attorneys would not even take my case. Attorney Milligan not only took it, but he won it! And I'm convinced he's the only reas...on the outcome was in my favor.

Excellent DUI Attorney

I hired Attorney Milligan to represent me for my first OUI charge. After interviewing multiple attorneys from the Boston area, James was by far the most knowledgeable DUI attorney that I had spoken to. I was impressed that every time I needed to call James, he would personally pick up the phone or ca...ll me back in a short time frame. James made me feel comfortable during the trial, and made sure that I was aware of the entire process. At the end of the trial, I was given a favorable outcome of not guilty.
