Jay did everything he said he would and more, he kept me informed and anytime I needed to talk to him he was available. He answers his phone himself, no secretaries to go through. He does have people email you with information, but otherwise it's all Jay. He is professional, and trustworthy and he ge...ts the job done. I had a good feeling about Jay from the minute I met him. He got my case dismissed and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good lawyer. I was charged with posession with intent to distribute and Jay took care of it all. He truly cared about me as a person and not just because he was getting paid.

OUI Attorney

I recently had a OUI case brought against me in Worcester . James took the time to meet me on a Saturday morning and discussed my case with me . He went through all the steps and told me what I could expect . In the end I got my license back and a not guilty finding in court . James is a great lawye...r who knows his business , I would highly recommend his services to anyone !

Successful outcome - OUI - Drugs/DRE

My 18 year old son was arrested for OUI Drugs (1st Offense), and charged with Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle. His license was immediately suspended. I met with several lawyers to review his case. I contacted Attorney James M. Milligan Jr. due to his knowledge with DRE (Drug Recognition Ex...pert) Evaluations. I was highly impressed with his expertise in this field, along with his experience in OUI cases. When we met with Attorney Milligan I knew he was the lawyer that we needed and hired him on the spot. He is highly professional and yet we felt immediately comfortable with him due to his down to earth mannerism. Attorney Milligan walked us through the process, step by step. He accompanied my son to the RMV for a suspension hearing; in order to get his license back. The Registry made the decision not to reinstate pending the decision of the court case. Our next step was to the Board of Appeals. Due to many factors, a decision was grated by the Board to reinstate my son’s license. Next step was dealing with the court case. After much litigation with the court system, my son’s court case was dismissed without having to go to trial. I am so thankful that we hired Attorney James M. Milligan Jr. and that he took on our case. I did not want my son to take a plea to a CWOF (Continuance without a Finding); cause I knew this would hang over his head for the rest of his life. This was a hard lesson he learned at such a young age, but thankful for the outcome due to Attorney Milligan’s experience in the courtroom and his high expertise and knowledge with the laws.
