Confident, Helpful, Goal Oriented, and Successful Lawyer

Charges: I was being charged with Operating under the influence of alcohol, Driving with negligence, Failure to Yield, and Open container. As expected, I was shocked, worried about my future, and felt helpless when I received my charges. I was still in school at the time and if I were found guilt...y for the previously mentioned charges, my future and career would be significantly affected. I did not feel comfortable with my court appointed lawyer and frankly believe he did not care about helping me. So, I met with several lawyers who deal primarily with DUI cases. Although some of the lawyers reassured me that they would win my case, Jay was confident, explained my situation and options in full detail, and answered all of my questions in a polite and professional manner. Jay was straight-forward throughout the entire process, was available and extremely flexible with his time. Not only did Jay represent me in the court, but he also represented me while I dealt with the RMV. He has an extensive knowledge about the rules, guidelines, and opportunities a person has who is being charged with a DUI. During the actual trial, Jay was attentive, fierce and made me feel comfortable. Prior to the trial, he explained that for my particualr situation, it would be more beneficial to waive the jury. This proved to be successful. The outcome: Driving under the influence-Not Guilty, Driving with Negligence- Not Guilty, Failure to Yield- Not Guilty, Open Container- Guilty (There was a bottle of alcohol in my car that was half empty). I am extremely happy with this outcome. An open container charge carries a 500 dollar fine, but it does not follow me around for the rest of my life and essentially ruin my career. Given the details of my case, many people thought I would not get out of my charges. But, Jay originally said he was goal-oriented and he was in fact goal-oriented. I would highly recommend Jay to anyone who is in need of legal help in which Jay specializes in. I firmly believe he is the best and if I am in need of legal help again, I am turning to Jay. -Jay, thank you very much...you were a life-saver and made what is supposed to be a stressful procress a very easy process. You were trustworthy, responsive, informative, and successful. All the best!

Successful Outcome on DUI case

Jay was a superb lawyer from the first time we met to our last day in court. I had spoken with several other DUI attorneys in the area before meeting Jay. I immediately knew I wanted him on my side in this situation. He was always so professional, prompt and informative- never hesitating to answer... my abundant questions. This my first time dealing with something like this but having Jay there made it infinitely less stressful. We got a positive outcome on my case and I can now move on with my life and career. I owe this peace of mind to Jay and all his hardwork over the past year. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled DUI attorney.

License reinstatement

Mr. Milligan was instrumental in my case as he was able to assist me with reinstatement of my driver's license. Not only was he efficient, responsive, and knowledgeable, but he kept me very well informed throughout the duration of the case. Mr. Milligan's background and experience with RMV affairs al...lows his clients to feel very supported. I am grateful to have had his help during a stressful and difficult time.

Defence Attorney

I am a small business owner and was arrested for suspicion of operating under influence of alcohol. Due to the nature of my business it was imperative that I minimize time without a licence. Mr Milligan informed me of how Massachusetts state law operates and how that applied to my case. Mr. Milligan... has great expertice in this legal field, he pointed out to me that there are specifc procedures and time frames that have to be met in order to arrive at the desired outcome. Mr. Milligan kept me very informed of the particulars of this case and how he was approaching them. Mr. Milligan is very personible and pays close attention to detail and because of this we won our case.
