What an AMAZING attorney!

Michael Haber was contracted by my family to help my brother in his case. Michael from the moment of connecting made sure to explain answers thoroughly and made sure to always answer his calls and text. Not to mention he picked up the phone on a Sunday afternoon!!! Michael always made sure to keep us... inform with the status of the case and made sure to give us the options that were available. Excellent attorney

Hi. My husband was convicted of drug trafficking in FL in 2012. After he got out of prison we moved to a different State. He got his driver license and we were all fine up until a few weeks ago when they wouldn't renew his license because Fl had a $38,000 hold against him from fines and costs from... his old FL case. I called the court and the DMV and then started looking for a Miami, FL lawyer to help. I found Michael Haber on google. I called him because we needed an attorney whom could do excactly just like his reviews said he would do, sure enough Mr. Haber immediately took my call. I told Mr. Haber that my husband needed his driver license now so while we were on the phone he looked up my husband's driver license and court case information and then he told me how long it would take and what it would cost to try to get it done. In just a few days Mr. Haber got the court's file (he emailed me copies of everything that he needed from the file), that same day he wrote a motion (he sent me a copy of that too) and then he was in front of the Judge 3 days later. Because of Mr. Haber the Judge removed the case from collections and reduced the money from $38,000 to the original $27,000 that was court ordered back in 2012. That very same day Mr. Haber not only got my husband on a $50 per month payment plan and got paperwork from the Clerk to clear the FL driver license suspension but he also went to DMV and reinstated my husband's FL driver license (and he emailed us copies of all of that paperwork too). So, in less than 2 weeks time my husband now has his driver license in our home State and we never even had to step foot in FL. Let me tell you that Michael Haber is an honest, fair, responsible and trustworthy lawyer. We appreciate him and we recommend him greatly. Thank you Mr. Haber!

Dear Anonymous, Thank you so much for your detailed and heartfelt Client Review (#HaberPA's 158th on AVVO). I don't pat myself on the back too often but as it turned out your husband's was a challenging case that wound up with an excellent result. It was difficult in that you had a dead line (needing immediate relief) and that I therefore had to rely upon my ability to juggle, work with and to some degree manipulate 3 separate entities: A) the Clerk of Court's Office - which I needed to be amenable, competent and cooperative, B) the Court - which I needed to display good will by invoking and using it's discretionary power for rapid equitable relief and C) FL-DMV - a traditionally impersonal and rigid entity with an unfriendly maze of endless bureaucracy. In the end (which was less than 2 weeks from the time of your initial contact) we were successful. Your family saved nearly 30%, your husband got his driver license back and my faith in the system "doing the right thing" was reinvigorated (believe me, when you do what I do daily, sadly you don't see this sort of result often enough). In this case Harvey Ruvin's Office (our Clerk of Court) was spectacular in it's assistance and efficiency, Judge Martin Zilber was exceptional in his understanding and willingness to ease your family's suffering and even DMV cut us great slack in letting me sneak into a line without an appointment to clear your hold and reinstate your driving privilege (so that your home State could be notified that FL was satisfied and you could get the DL that you sought). When my son was younger he used to watch a cartoon called "The Wonder Pets" and their theme was "what's gonna work... teamwork"; well that's what happened here. And as you now know there's plenty of thanks to go around, the greatest of which come from me to you; first for your leap of faith in hiring #HaberPA and permitting me the privilege of being of service and second for your awesome review. Arrested for something stupid, found the right Lawyer

I was visiting Miami Beach when I got arrested for driving with a suspended license. I honestly didn’t know that my license was suspended. The rental car company didn’t even tell me. And the police were so rude and wouldn’t listen. They just took me to jail. I was handcuffed and put in a cell an...d had to spend a night. I found attorney Haber on the internet and he told me that I could go home and not to worry. He said that he’d find me a MI lawyer to help me to reinstate my driver license and then that he’d handle my case and that I wouldn’t have to come back to Miami to go to court. And he did exactly what he said he was going to do. He found me a lawyer who helped me to get my driver license straightened out and he sent me some paperwork by email and then he got my case dismissed in Miami without me having to show up. Attorney Haber called and emailed me and just like he said I didn’t have to worry. I have had to deal with lawyers before but never like this. I wish they were all like Michael Haber.

Dear Tori, Thank you for your kind review. I'd like to highlight one thing - that you are an out-of-State resident who was arrested while visiting FL (which is an unfortunate yet also a common occurrence) . Two years ago (in 2016), when #HaberPA's YouTube VideoFAQ had just began, I published # 22, "Came on Vacation Left on Probation" (please see: https://youtu.be/pL3ox5W547I ) and less than a month ago (in February, 2018) I published # 223, "If I get Arrested in FL but I live out of State do I still have to come to Court?" (please see: https://youtu.be/otoc5JtPC9c ). Both videos are relevant but your case falls squarer into the latter (i.e. no probation, no court appearance, no problem). As an aside, while DWLS is an arrestable offense, in my experience most of the time law enforcement will let you go with a PTA / NTA (promise / notice to appear) and will not physically book you into the jail. Unfortunately you met the wrong police officer at the wrong time. Miami (and it's surrounding area) is truly a "Magic City", even if we do have a few crummy cops. Still, I'm happy that you're happy and I hope that you'll come back to visit us again. Take care, MAH/Esq.

My son's legal battle was over once Michael got involved

My son was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, a serious felony, and I had no idea who to hire to represent him. There are so many criminal lawyers on the internet but after seeing all of the positive reviews on AVVO for Michael Haber we looked at his website an...d then at his YouTube channel. Actually being able to watch and listen to him explain things convinced us that he was going to be our guy, and now that it's all done we are so happy that we went with him. Micheal takes his job very seriously. He was always available to us and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He fought vigorously for my son and his motion to suppress the marijuana was granted. Michael's performance in court was astonishing. He was direct and assertive but also respectful. We are thankful that we found Micheal and believe that if we hadn't then my son's case probably would not have worked out so perfectly. I hope you don't but if you need a criminal lawyer then I recommend Michael Haber.

Best possible outcome

Never in my worst nightmares would I consider that I would need criminal representation. I was lost in a system I was unfamiliar with. I interviewed multiple attorneys and based on only a hunch picked one with real showmanship flair. That was a huge mistake and costly one at that. It became very clea...r I was not being represented by the “previous attorney’s office”. After ten months of being held on a no pay status with my professional career; a colleague referred me to Mr. Haber and once we spoke on the phone, it was clear that Michael Haber was the attorney I was looking for. From that point on I felt as though I would be represented and treated fairly and with supreme knowledge of the law. Mr. Haber and I spoke for what was easily over half an hour, and then he suggested what not a single other attorney to that point had; coming over to my house to personally observe my version of occurrences that evening. Upon completing the visit he had concluded that that I should take my case in another direction. He was very clear and knowledgeable of the law in respect to this new direction, after all he advised me that I was a victim in this case. Not one single attorney, to this point, considered to visit where the incident occurred, and personally walk through my version of events as well as interview eye witnesses. Michael advised me as no other attorney had. He initiated his research, had a technician come by the scene to diagram it, collected information “others” failed to do and set us on the right course. It was not an easy time for me, but Mr. Haber kept me informed, up to the minute, via constant and diligent communication. In court, there was an apparent air of respect for Mr. Haber, he professionally and clearly guided me through each proceeding. Although it was not easy for me, at least I knew what to expect. When the difficult decision to plea out or go to trial came, his firm, no-nonsensical approach kept me focused. His team provided an excellent presentation in court, and Michael Adam Haber and team accomplished what others could not and would not do. Michael’s guidance yielded me the “best possible outcome”. Michael is always available, dedicated, knowledgeable and street savvy; A very kind yet no-nonsense kind of man. His assertive nature makes him the best I know in his field. Truly a “Shark”. Dear Nick, What can I say other than thank you. Your words are heartfelt, sentimental and more meaningful than I can express. So that the folks who are reading this understand, you spent a small fortune on a toothless tiger - a lawyer who took your case, your money and then tried to plead your case out (over a 10 month period while you sat, suspended from work, without pay and while your wife worked double shifts to compensate for your loss of income). You came to me by way of a personal referral on a complete fluke and we quickly determined that you had been wrongfully - and unlawfully - arrested by cops who had manufactured a bogus case against you to cover their own a**es (and for no reason more than that you had the temerity to both - literally - stand your ground and then verbally call them out on their lack of professionalism, training and respect). You were in the right in the moment, and when the State Attorney doubled-down on the officer's BS story, well the Judge formally ruled that you were in the right in the end too, granting you statutory immunity from prosecution and literally booting the case out of her courtroom. Me, I just did my job. I identified the problem, came up with a plan to remedy it and then did so with extreme prejudice (and inside of 3 months). You had the harder job of keeping your cool, coming to truly believe that while you were the Defendant on paper in reality you were the victim (first of unwarranted police aggression and then of a snake-oil salesman in a suit who effectively robbed and falsely imprisoned you), taking the witness stand with complete confidence in your victim-status, offering testimony in your own defense and doing all this knowing that if your lawyer got it wrong then you could be going to prison. It's a very difficult thing to do... to face the police and the prosecution, to put your freedom, your liberty, your very life in another's hands, and while I appreciate your praise and thanks, in this light it is I who should be thanking you. You took several leaps of faith, first in calling me, then in firing your obtuse lawyer "with real showmanship flair" so as to bring me on board and finally in trusting me to get you immunity from prosecution - and for all of that and more I thank you. After the war that we went through together you and your wife (and Bailey - your Labrador Retriever) are family. I just want to add that as much as I want to take credit it must be spread as my partner and my investigator were, as they always are, absolutely invaluable. I wouldn't accomplish 1/2 of what I do with out them (especially my partner). And a special shout out to you wife who was a rock for all of us (most especial you).
