I always try my best to treat every client like they are a cherished family member and strive to get the best possible outcome.
If you have been injured or charged with a crime, (misdemeanor, felony or MTR) and need great representation at a fair price, give me a call. I will use my more than 28 years of legal experience to help you during this difficult time. As those I have assisted in the past can tell you I am compassionate, caring and will fight for you. If for some reason other lawyers are unwilling to assist you, give me a call. I have assisted many people who have been turned away by other lawyers.
With respect to criminal defense, I have experience representing people charged with all classes of felonies as well as misdemeanors. I also defend clients on "Motions to Revoke Probation". If you need help defending criminal charges, at least speak with me (free initial consultation). I have been successful in obtaining dismissals, successful plea bargains and successful litigation.
The other main areas of my practice are personal injury and employment law, including work injuries. As a teenager my parents had lawyers representing them on a personal injury case. When the case settled the lawyers charged them all sorts of expenses, but I was particularly upset they charged $500 for coping costs. Their contingency fee of 40% was bad enough, but after all the "expense" deductions the lawyers took over half the settlement. I have never, and will never, get paid more money than those I represent! I will do my best to get the result you deserve. Also, if you need medical attention I assist with obtaining proper medical care.
I have worked hard for the people of Texas. I am honest, diligent, intelligent, and forthright. I understand the problems you and your family are, or will, be facing and I will stand with you. Although I am very seldom the first lawyer people contact, (because my name, “Warren” is near the end of the alphabet), I am often the last. I have made my living off cases other lawyers have turned away. I typically handling criminal defense, personal injury and workers compensation cases but also take a few other cases that come up. I have litigated cases across the State of Texas. You have nothing to lose; try me and hopefully I can assist you.
For workers compensation and personal injury cases you may have been advised you do not need a lawyer, but consider the fact the carrier has a head start on you. It knows how to dispute your claim even before you are injured. If the carrier disputes even a portion of your case and a hearing is scheduled you may regret not having a lawyer by your side because the adjusters know the law.
For instance, in WC cases, at the hearing, called a CCH, looking around the room you will discover you are alone. That is because generally every person there (hearing officer, adjuster, carrier lawyer) makes a living on WC, you do not. Most injured workers feel as though everyone is speaking a foreign language in the hearing. Also, keep in mind carriers are in the business of making money, not paying claims. They have no heart; they are corporations that you cannot reason with.
When you are injured, you may be requested to provide a statement. That initial statement may be critical. You need to be aware of your rights and the proper way to answer questions. You need to make sure you report the entire injury and you must be very careful in that regard.
Consider a WC situation where you have an occupational or repetitive trauma type of injury that has been getting worse in increments over a few years. When does your 30 days begin to run? Is it when you first had pain (no), when symptoms are so bad you miss work (most likely no), or maybe it’s the last day you work? The appeals panel has most often ruled when you seek medical help you either know or should have known; so that is typically your injury date for reporting purposes. The appeals panel has also ruled the date you first had symptoms is not the injury date.
I know when you are injured either in an accident or at work, and cannot work, this is a troubling time for you and your family. I will do my best to walk with you during this difficult and trying time and warn you about the traps before they are set. We can find doctors that will take on your medical care without you having to pay as well as assisting you in other ways.
I have handled cases from across the State. Please at least speak with a lawyer. An injury can ruin your life and you may not know it until too late and then there is nothing anyone can do to assist you. Give us a call at.
