First of all, I want to cut straight to the point and say that Mike Haber and his partner Marc Morris are absolutely and undoubtedly the BEST defense attorneys you can possibly have in your corner. After having had enough of a toxic and roller coaster ride of a relationship with a woman who had bo...rderline personality disorder, I decided to end things. She had a few things at my home and I agreed to have her wait outside while I brought them out, as she wasn’t allowed inside. Everything was going ok until I made the mistake of allowing her into my home to “use the bathroom”. Long story short she refused to leave and ended up getting violent, destructive and attacking me inside my home despite me asking her to leave. I called 911 for some assistance in getting this deranged and emotionally unstable woman out of my house and a female officer showed up and arrested ME. Yes, arrested ME, after being attacked in my OWN home… Can you imagine?! Worst, I even got an ankle bracelet slapped on me (with no prior criminal record) because my ex showed up to court the next morning and claimed that she was “scared for her life”. I previously hired two, yes two defense attorneys for this same matter but after giving both a fair shot and seeing them in action in front of this particular judge neither of them made me feel confident in their ability to protect my innocence. In fact, I was even more worried ... I was dealing with a vindictive woman who was determined to ruin my life and that was the consequence of leaving her. I had a lot to lose and I wasn’t about to let her do that. Thank GOD I found Mike Haber. From the very first conversation with him, I knew I had finally found the RIGHT attorney. He looked up my arrest report and thoroughly explained every possible outcome and even told me which defense strategy we would use... Funny enough, neither of those previous attorneys mentioned it... “Stand your ground”. I was faced with two cases; a misdemeanor and a felony about two weeks apart. After being stuck and not sure of what the next step was after facing these issues, a mutual friend introduced us to Mr. Haber to fix my problems. At first, I was intimidated by his strong speech, but he was very... approachable, and it gave me hope since Mike knew exactly what to do and got straight to the point of how to reach the finish line. I was given a seat back and was able to continue my academic life after fulfilling a few terms which were livable. When I say this attorney is the Batman of Lawyers, I am not exaggerating. Just 8 month ago this would of been way too embarrassing for me to admit but looking back I have to be completely honest about what happened I was arrested on 4th DUI. My third DUI happened less than 5 years earlier and I was still enrolled in a DMV program trying to earn back my drivers lisence at t...ime after bonding out of jail I called a police officer friend of mine and he told me that I needed to call Mike Haber. I did and mike met me the same day he ask me a lot of questions. He was patient and thorough and he listened,but then he shocked me with my reality I didn’t want to believe how much trouble I was in - mostly because I was in denial - and honestly in that moment I was not thrilled with what mike told me he said that I had an alcohol problem that I probably had underlying mental health issues and no matter what I definitely had a going to prison problem but mike also assured me that everything was manageable if I followed his plan mike told me that unless I got lucky with some screw up by the police then my only shot at avoiding jail was to agree to spend 90 days in an inpatient substance abuse program he explained that this wasn’t only a strategic for court but that if I took it seriously then it could also save my life. Again honestly looking back on that conversation I was far from thrilled but then again I was also in denial so I went home talked to my wife and my police officer friend and realized a few things I had 3 different lawyers represent me on my other DUIs but not one of them thought or talked like mike none of them even considered my life outside of court and none of them was referred to me by a cop so I called mike back and agreed to go check out the facility that he had recommended long story short I spend 90 days in rehab then another 45 in an intensive outpatient program I am- to this day - in follow up treatment and mike was 100% correct not only did he kept me out of jail but he also put me in the right place to understand the reasons for my alcohol addiction and how to maintain my sobriety in the end mike was right about everything whenever I called him he always told me to stay focused on my sobriety and treatment and to let him worry about court it took me 8 month but my case is closed I am not in jail and sober mike performed and I can’t thank him enough if you need a criminal lawyer and want one who you can trust then don’t hesitate to call Mike Haber!
