Criminal Defense

Mike Haber represented me a few years ago on my first felony arrest. He got the charges dropped and I figured that was that, but I got myself arrested again, and this time it was far more serious. Not only was I staring at a loss of liberty but because of my actions I was also facing the loss of my... family. If I did not know Mike then I would be more surprised but I do know him, and so, in hindsight it's no surprise at all that he was tough with me. Mike demanded that I do things that I definitely did not want to do and also that I not do things that I definitely wanted to do, but in hindsight I know that he made these demands with purpose... in fact with multiple purposes. Mike's plan was to save both my life and my family by forcing me to confront and change myself. He made me enter individual and group therapy. He made me enroll in a 26 week anger management course. He made me avoid certain people and situations. He put together a team to assist me in every way and he was on top of me every few days, holding me to account, checking in and checking up, but also offering encouragement and support. In the end I know that I did all the heavy lifting, but if I'm being honest I would not have known where to start, much less whether I would have followed-though without Mike's steadfast support. Mike Haber is a great lawyer but he is an even better friend. Thank you Mike.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you very much for your most eloquent expression (in the form of #HaberPA's 213th Client Review on AVVO). Once a criminal case is closed I consider my former client to be a friend, and so, as in your situation, it's always bitter-sweet when a current friend returns as a repeat client (bitter in that the last place where I'd like to see you is again involved with the criminal justice system yet sweet in that a) by hiring me again you have exhibited your complete confidence in my ability and desire to help you and b) as such, I am ever-honored to have earned that privilege). Still, in this existence one of the few certain existential observations is that life is full of unpredictable events (or, more simply put, "sh*t happens"), and so it came to pass that you became a repeat client. Apart from expressing my gratitude (for both re-hiring #HaberPA and for your current Client Review) the only comment that I am compelled to make about your kind review is that I did neither "made" (in terms of applying any force) nor did I "demand" that you do anything; rather, with your input I established and you agreed to commit to a multi-tiered plan which was designed to levy an effective challenge the charges while also paving the path for responsible, objective mitigation, should the same ever be required. But the true beauty of the plan which I set in place was that it had the added benefits of providing a support system which effectively reduced your risk during the process (which, largely due to CoVid, took a full year to resolve) while both educating you as to how to adopt and incorporate more balanced management and coping skills into your life while concurrently taking proactive measures which indisputably demonstrated your earnest and most heartfelt desire to save your family. You are 1,000% correct when you observe that "In the end I know that I did all the heavy lifting", because you did; moreover, you did so in a completely steadfast, determined and unwavering fashion, and you should be incredibly proud of yourself for your total accomplishments and complete success. Had you failed, on any level at any time in any capacity (noting that there were limitless possibilities for any such breakdown) then we likely would not be having this pleasant discourse. All of that said, I am gratified that you are (once again) pleased with both my services and the outcome and I am both proud of you and happy that we are back in "friend" (as opposed to "client") status. I am going to go out on a limb and guess that by calling me "strict" you are referring to the fact that in your case I felt it necessary to bridle you by applying tight control and regulation during the course of my representation. If that's correct then I trust that given both your circumstances when I was retained and the outcome when I was finished you have come to understand the "why" of that (and from your kind words - to wit: "very professional and fought for me", "with me through out the entire court process", "making sure we understand each other" and "provide the best representation" - it seems that we have indeed come to understand one another). First and for most, I just want to say thank you so much Mr. Haber it was a pleasure. I don’t regret hiring you not one bit for my boyfriend. Being the person who found you and hired you to get the job done it was really stressful especially being in Orlando and your 300+ miles away Not knowing if yo...u were going to be good or get the job done properly. I felt like all the pressure was on me because I wanted to pick the best lawyer for my boyfriend. But reading your reviews I trusted my gut instance and don’t regret it not one bit. Returning Property (firearm) from POLICE

I used to work with another lawyer who promised me to return my firearm without any problems from HOMESTEAD POLICE DEPARTMENT and since that past almost one year and nothing. I was very sad. I start surfing YouTube trying find any help and BIG THANK YOU to the Michael Adam Haber PA, he having the ...YouTube channel where he was explaining how you can return your property from whoever impound your gun! I hired mr. Haber PA in to weeks I had hearing where Judge granted my motion of returning my property from HPD. My experience with Haber PA are fantastic He was clear always when explaining things to me! He always respond to my email and text messages OTHER lawyers don’t do that! It matters not whether I am tasked with a filing a procedural motion such as yours or a jury trial or anything in between, as no matter what the objective #HaberPA will always pay attention to the client and the client's needs, field your questions, ease your concerns and otherwise keep you in the loop until such time as we have provided the precise service for which we were retained. truly one of a kind!

Honestly, I cannot write a review that can come close to or equate to the level of greatness that Michael Haber has attained. I am truly grateful for the second chance at life my family and I have received as a result of hiring Mr. Haber. As most people know, there is a vast sea of attorneys and find...ing a great one is like finding a needle in a haystack. From the moment I called him and HE personally answered, to when we met for the first time, he exuberated this confidence and knowledge that someone can only aspire to achieve. Going into any legal process is normally very unsettling and a litany of what if's usually consumes your mind but within the first five minutes of speaking to Mr. Haber face to face, I was put at ease as he reviewed our case and focused solely on the facts. How he speaks is very straightforward and unequivocal, he doesn't sit there with you and use the usual attorney jargon. He elucidated the whole process and walked us through the steps that were necessary to understand in dealing with the court system. He was very thorough, and once in a while paused briefly to make sure we weren't overwhelmed or had any inquires of any kind. Once all was said and done, he told us we could reach him at his number at anytime if we were to come across any concerns that we would like to discuss. After our meeting we were exceedingly confident that we had hired an astounding attorney and we were correct. We never had any doubts or felt as if our case wasn't properly evaluated. Fast forward to our actual court date, where Mr. Haber came out the gate with this need and desire to attain the most favorable decision regarding my case. He argued my case with such precision and vigor that anyone in that courtroom stopped to listen to what he had to say. Needless to say, my case was dismissed.
