I'm not usually one to leave such a public opinion about someone online, but in this case, I think Mr. Fisher has definitely earned this review. When I hired Mr. Fisher I made it very clear that I have a lot of anxiety and was nervous about the reckless driving charge that was brought against me. I m...ade it known that I only wanted him to represent me. He took time to answer every text message, return every phone call, and even blocked out time for me to meet with him at his office. He assured me that he would take care of this charge. He was well respected by everyone in the courtroom; researched law to help fight this case. However, in the end I was convicted with reckless driving, but he immediately told me not to give up. He continued to stay in touch which really helped reduce my anxiety. Mr. Fisher didn't waste any time researching case law for an appeal. He never gave up on my case. The day before my appeal he was several hours away with another case, but traveled back for my appeal... and drove several hours back for his other case after my appeal. He could have just sent someone else from his office, but he didn't. I respect that he showed up and was able to negotiate a plea deal for me. He always did what he said he would do. It's true that we had to overcome some obstacles along the way, but he was truly the best lawyer for me. I am blessed to have hired Mr. Fisher to represent me. He is the reason I was able to get my reckless driving conviction down to an improper driving and a mere $200 fine. His services were not cheap, but he did allow for a payment plan. & I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. Mr. Fisher earned every dime that was paid to him and I am further ahead, financially, by not having to worry about my car insurance going up or losing my career... thank you Mr. Fisher, I appreciate all you've done for me!!

I needed a lawyer for my traffic case. Mr. Fisher had sent me a brochure through mail. Read the book he sent and I knew right then he was the attorney for me and my case. Highly recommend him to anyone and definitely would hiring him again. Very knowledgeable attorney. Awesome gentlemen to speak with.... Answer all questions that were asked. There for me and very confident.

I hired this firm after finding them online. Under the advertised under the service, I was looking for. After getting a prompt phone call back, from Mr Fisher. I was impressed with his seeming interest and willingness to work. Or so, I thought. Turns out, I made a very bad decision. I paid, and was a...voided and put off for weeks, nearly a month. Then a "different" attorney contacts me, Mr Hershey. I was informed he would be handling my case. I would've been fine with that, had he actually handled my case. But again detoured avoided vacations excuse after excuse. Gave my information several times. No filing NOTHING. I literally had to barrage this man with "texts" (our only form of communication because he won't answer his phone or return calls, EVER!) To get him to finally file the paperwork. 3 months later paperwork gets filed. Almost 6 months later, I'm still trying to get a update?! I received a return text after my reaching out, again. Stating paperwork has been filed out of my hands. I thought I had hired a attorney not a secretary. Their advertisements must be false, I don not believe they have ever done 1 case like mine. !!!! AWFUL SERVICE!!!!!!

We hired Mr. Fisher when my son got a DUI (.11 BAC) last summer. He passed the field sobriety test. (His BAC was .06 when he was booked.) When we went to court, Mr. Fisher prepared our son well. Our son had the option of guilty or not guilty. He decided to plead not guilty due to extenuating... circumstances. Mr. Fisher told us what to expect, including the possibility that the charges would not be dropped given the alcohol level (which was at the point where judges often show non leniency). When Mr. Fisher entered the court room, you could feel an air of respect - not fear, but respect. Even the Commonwealth (prosecuting) Attorney, who was very aggressive in pursuing his argument showed respect. Mr. Fisher argued for dismissal on the grounds that the arresting officer's report stated that the vehicle "was either on or over the line" four times. (My son was driving closer to the middle line due to deer on the side of the road including one that ran in front of his vehicle It was nighttime and there were no other vehicles on the road. However, the matter of the deer did not come into play). Following the initial arguments, the judge asked several pertinent questions and then asked the lawyers to take a recess to discuss the matter rather than rendering his immediate decision. After the first recess the Prosecutor would not relent and the judge sent them back to reconsider. After the second recess, the senior prosecutor intervened and agreed that the law is intended to protect people from unreasonable prosecution, and must be beyond ambiguities. Because the officer's report stated "either/or" it was too ambiguous. The case was dismissed. During the entire trial Mr. Fisher showed us to be a first class representative for our son He is experienced and wise. There were times I assumed he might interject, but I realized that he knew exactly when to use silence as the most effective tool. Jonathan Fisher is second to none. In our experience; it was immediately clear that his reputation preceded him. In addition, I would like to emphasis that Mr. Fisher is non-judgmental, approachable and good listener in the office and very accessible outside of the office. Also, Mr. Fisher has close personal and professional ties to Virginia Tech, the greater community and Virginia but ALSO the surrounding states. My family and I unequivocally give Mr. Fisher our highest recommendation.

Our son was facing misdemeanor charges out of state for underage drinking and petit larceny and we were forced to 'internet search' for lawyers in the Lexington jurisdiction. We had hired another lawyer that was local and well known - but did not provide any confidence in our son's case outcome. Af...ter a week of conversations about jail time and a potential record and possibly an appeal down the road - we searched for another lawyer and thankfully found Mr. Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a great listener, readily available to us by cell to answer any questions during the entire process - he answers his own phone so you don't have to leave messages and play phone tag with an assistant - so rare! Most importantly - he gave my son and us confidence that everything would be ok and that he had a plan. Mr. Fisher was organized and prepared and there were no surprises. The petit larceny was amended and all charges are pending and will be dismissed in a year. It would have been a different outcome with another lawyer - probably another trip to Virginia and an appeal that would have dragged this on and on. This was a first offense - all related to underage drinking and dumb college kid decisions and he was able to convince a tough prosecutor and tough judge that my son was a good kid who made a dumb decision one night and should not have his permanent record affected that could jeopardize his future. Mr. Fisher is NOT cheap - but he will give you his time, consult with you, prepare and be creative in his approach and be confident in his ability to provide the result he promises. I am thankful that we hired him.
