INCOMPETENT STAFF, WASTED MY MONEY, I SHOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS!!!!

I had hired this firm from CL(1st mistake) over a year ago to handle two traffic tickets in Tarrant County, It started out wrong by bad communication with paralegal staff, or marketers, then I am informed that I had to pay a retainer or fee for their services for the two tickets. I did so, then it ...started with incorrect information listed for my self and the tickets, then some months pass then I am sent an email saying that I have to pay $$$ for court costs and fines, and another fee for their services.....!! Oh did I also say that I was to appear in court with less than 24 hour notice????!!!! I paid what they asked, then I appeared in court late winter to ask for a trial and was told by the attorney who was not prepared and had several other Bobbitt clients waiting for appearance and then several hours later, by this time, I received a letter telling me that Bobbitt Firm joined another firm in Dallas...!! Since then, no communications from either the attorney handling my traffic tickets, cases, nor paralegals, NO BODY!!!!! NOW, I find myself needing to get my legal matter resolved because NO ONE bothered to inform the attorney that I would not be in town during the week of my court date, and instead I get a letter from the firm that Bobbitt joined that I may have warrants due to 'failure to appear'!!!!! What a waste, I will be sending complaint to the State Bar on the ethics or lack there of and now have to spend $$$$ to hire another attorney. SO, READ the reviews, DO NOT HIRE this man!!!! RUN, all they can afford to advertise is in CL!!

WORST COMPANY EVER

I hired Bobbitt for a simple court case after they called multiple times convincing me of how great they were. The promise was to reduce or dismiss the ticket but they DID NOTHING. After paying my money they didn’t contact me AT ALL, they rarely answer the phone, never call you back, and still have n...ot replied to my email I sent for help long ago. Then I call the courts for them to tell me I had 30 days to pay $1200 IN FULL. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HIRE A REAL LAWYER. I have a lawyer looking into my refund.

Completely ripped off

Avoid this firm at all costs. I hired them to represent me in a speeding ticket case expecting, of course, a better outcome than I could have negotiated for myself. In fact what I got was confusion, a waste of time, and outcome I could have quite simply negotiated for myself. Issues I faced: 1...) Neglected to tell me that they generally are only able to get a dismissal if you accompany them for the first hearing. When they called me and told me that had finally confirmed an appearance date months later, I told them I was going to be out of the state on business and they didn't suggest that we seek a new date or relay the importance of needing to appear in person. After all, aren't you hiring them to take care of this for you? 2) They never answer their customer service line after they've accepted your case and they do not reply to your e-mail requests for updates as well. You'll have to call into the "new case" extension to get a real human to talk to. 3) Once they made the appearance on my behalf, the case disposition letter they sent me afterward didn't accurately describe the outcome they negotiated on my behalf! They stated in the letter I received deferred adjudication only, which was not the case. The city also required I take a defensive driving course and that requirement that they neglected to spell out in the letter. The only reason I knew this is because I received a letter in the mail from the Austin municipal court stating I had not fulfilled the terms of my deferral and I had to call the clerk's office to be told that the DSC course was also required! Obviously I could have saved myself the $200 and the hassle of all of this by simply signing up for the defensive driving course myself. When I called Bobbitt Law back to ask for a refund or help in correcting the issue, they declined to offer further assistance, admit the mistake of not accurately stating the terms of the plea in the case disposition letter, or agree to even a partial refund due to all of the above. I could have ended up with a warrant against me had I not been vigilant in following up with the city directly. You've been warned; find another more ethical, reputable firm!
