Highly Competent and caring lawyer

Mr. Fisher represented me when I was arrested for my 2nd DUI within 5 years. He was great to work with. He was very professional and took a personal interest in my case. He was just as concerned about my welfare as he was about the legal issues I was facing. Since my BAC was so high in both DUI a...rrests and I also had been arrested for public intoxication, Jonathan very strongly recommended that I seek in patient treatment for alcohol abuse. Thank God that he did. It pointed me in the right direction for a healthy life and I believe it showed the court that I had made necessary changes to avoid future problems. It ended up that the commonwealth did not have the evidence necessary to convict me. Jonathan saw that and together we decided to reject the plea that was offered and fight the case and we won. He was very confident during the trial and knew exactly how to handle my case , which had some unusual circumstances. Also, while waiting for my court date I had a couple of major slips, which were violations of my pretrial terms. Jonathan helped me through those and the court allowed me to focus on my recovery rather than waiting for my trial in a jail cell. I highly recommend Jonathan Fisher and I am grateful that he represented me.

DUI case

Jonathan Fisher is in my view the best traffic attorney in VA. I was arrested for a DUI, although the arresting officer found me outside of my parked car --and falsely stated that I confessed to driving. I called or met with all traffic lawyers in the area; and Mr Fisher was by far the most knowledge...able and compassionate. This has been a lengthy and draining ordeal, during which the prosecution tried to bully me into taking a bad plea deal based on video evidence they claimed they had but never did produce. Mr Fisher helped me all along and defended me brilliantly in court (all charges were dismissed by the judge). I'm glad I hired him, and stuck with him as we went through some turbulence. I highly recommend Mr Fisher.

Amazing lawyer

I am 20 years old and was on my way to Virginia Beach to see my husband who had just joined the navy. I lost focus and was clocked going 97 miles per hour in a 60 zone in Appomattox County and charged with reckless driving. I made the long trip to court and when there the judge told me since a ...jail sentence was possible on this criminal reckless driving charge, I could get a lawyer. I asked for a court appointed lawyer due to finances, but none was available that day and I was going to have to come back. Just then Mr. Fisher stood up and told the judge he would try to help me. He was there on another case. He met with me and my husband. After talking to the prosecutor and officer he got them to agree to reduce it to a regular ticket, improper driving. People go to jail there at that speed on a regular basis. We asked Mr. Fisher if we could pay him anything and he just said no and that he was happy to help a military family. We were surprised but very thankful for his help that day. I would recommend him to anyone because it's clear he really cares.

Reckless driving conviction... gone!

I'm not usually one to leave such a public opinion about someone online, but in this case, I think Mr. Fisher has definitely earned this review. When I hired Mr. Fisher I made it very clear that I have a lot of anxiety and was nervous about the reckless driving charge that was brought against me. I m...ade it known that I only wanted him to represent me. He took time to answer every text message, return every phone call, and even blocked out time for me to meet with him at his office. He assured me that he would take care of this charge. He was well respected by everyone in the courtroom; researched law to help fight this case. However, in the end I was convicted with reckless driving, but he immediately told me not to give up. He continued to stay in touch which really helped reduce my anxiety. Mr. Fisher didn't waste any time researching case law for an appeal. He never gave up on my case. The day before my appeal he was several hours away with another case, but traveled back for my appeal... and drove several hours back for his other case after my appeal. He could have just sent someone else from his office, but he didn't. I respect that he showed up and was able to negotiate a plea deal for me. He always did what he said he would do. It's true that we had to overcome some obstacles along the way, but he was truly the best lawyer for me. I am blessed to have hired Mr. Fisher to represent me. He is the reason I was able to get my reckless driving conviction down to an improper driving and a mere $200 fine. His services were not cheap, but he did allow for a payment plan. & I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. Mr. Fisher earned every dime that was paid to him and I am further ahead, financially, by not having to worry about my car insurance going up or losing my career... thank you Mr. Fisher, I appreciate all you've done for me!!
