Matt Norris is the owner and principle of the Norris Law Firm, PLLC. He focuses his practice in consumer law, including North Carolina lemon law and warranty claims, auto dealer fraud and other consumer fraud and unfair business practices claims. He is admitted to practice law in North Carolina and all North Carolina federal districts courts.
Before he began practicing law as a NC lemon law attorney, Matt was an avid skydiver. During his 15-year skydiving career, he was part of a four-way competitive skydiving team, the Angry Beez. In 2001, he and his teammates earned the Silver Metal in the Advanced Class at the United States Parachute Association (“USPA”) National Championships in Ottawa, Illinois. Matt also earned his tandem and accelerated freefall (AFF) skydiving instructor ratings, and ultimately made over 3,000 jumps.
Matt attended law school at Georgia State University College of Law, and graduated cum laude in 2007. During law school, he had the unique privilege of earning two consecutive internships with the Georgia Supreme Court, working for the Honorable Justices Carol W. Hunstein and Robert Benham. He also worked with the Georgia State College of Law Tax Clinic, was a member of the Moot Court Team, and earned an externship with the Atlantic Federal Defenders Program.
Before attending law school, Matt graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
Matt is a member of several legal organizations, including the State Bar of North Carolina, North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and National Association of Consumer Advocates.
In 2012, he was honored to have the opportunity to present on several topics during the National Association of Consumer Advocates Auto Fraud Conference in Clearwater, Florida.
Matt has focused his practice in on North Carolina lemon law and consumer protection law because he believes that consumers have a right to quality legal representation in order to even the playing field in a sometimes predatory marketplace. He has been practicing as a NC lemon law lawyer his entire career, and looks forward to reviewing your case, and helping you resolve the problems you might be experiencing with your vehicle.
