Jeremy M. Saland

Jeremy Saland is one of the hardest working lawyers I have seen. He has a heart of gold and is extremely talented at what he does. The work his legal team is capable of doing for the everyday Joe is phenomenal. I personally was desperate for a good lawyer this year after being accused of multiple Tit...le IX violations. Even after, Jeremy helped me overcome inquiries by the NYPD that ultimately never evolved into an arrest. Frightened and alone, I could not address this issue with my family for a number of reasons. Jeremy found a way to not only calm me as his client, but he prepared me, as well as himself, for what I faced. In regularly meeting and speaking with Jeremy, a few things stood out. First, Jeremy is not your typical lawyer. He truly cares about you and the outcome of your case. Not only is his work geared towards making the client happy, but more importantly he strives to do right by you. Second, he was very flexible with billing, cared about justice, and fought to give me a second chance. I know Jeremy fairly well now, and he is a down to earth guy who is very talented and exceptional as a thinker, lawyer and an all-around good person. I would recommend Jeremy over any other lawyer bar none because he gives it to you straight, has a box of tissues for you, and cuts through the crap to protect your life and future. For me, Jeremy clearly shared my goal of seeing me succeed in life. He no doubt made sure of that and kept my academic record clean from any suspension, revocation, etc. Above all Jeremy is devoted to giving his time, resources and support so you succeed not only in your career but as a human being.

I was contacted by a detective out of nowhere and informed that a woman complained I was stalking her, and I was asked to surrender to be arrested. I felt the police rushed to judgment and did a very poor job investigating, so I immediately contacted Mr. Saland. I explained that I was accused of some...thing I did not do and that I had no idea who the person making these allegations was. Mr. Saland understood the situation and assured me as best he could that the matter will be resolved. He followed thru with the detective, and later the DA' s office, seeking the immediate dismissal of the case. The prosecutor did not opt to dismiss the case and instead made an offer of an ACD, which in six months would be a dismissal, and an order of protection. I was totally innocent of these charges and Mr. Saland believed me. He understood that I am a professional in the Finance industry and that a matter of this nature would have serious implications on my record and my career. I refused to accept any offers from the DA's office other than a complete dismissal and when the prosecution persisted he took the case to trial. In fact, on the trial date the judge told us we might have to wait another month or two to start, but Mr. Saland was able to push respectfully to commence that day. I cannot describe Mr. Saland’s competency and effectiveness during the trial. His extensive experience as a prior prosecutor was evident in how he proved my innocence and got me acquitted of all charges. Mr. Saland was tenacious, strategic, and efficient in legally protecting me from false accusations. His confidence and expertise was superior in the courtroom. His attention to detail and unmatched ability to articulate the facts with reason and logic made it easy for the judge to see that I was innocent. Jeremy Saland is brilliant, friendly and has excellent work ethic. He kept me comfortable throughout the stages of this case and didn’t hesitate to “set me straight” when necessary. I am very grateful for his service and for the great job he did getting justice to be served.
