Evelyn Highly Recommended

I am very glad that I hired Evelyn at my attorney. She is an excellent attorney. She knows how the legal system works because she has a wealth of 20+ years of experience, having worked both sides of the legal system, as a former DA and as an attorney representing parents and kids. She is a... clear communicator; she is direct and provides sound legal counsel. She accurately portrays the challenges of dealing with CPS so that I could protect my family and me. She knows a lot of other skilled professionals and attorneys; basically, because she’s been around the block, she knows a lot of other trained experts who have helped my family and me. I am thankful to Evelyn and would recommend her.

Knowledgeable and not afraid to say it like it is

Evelyn has been representing my son for almost a year now as he works his way through reunification services for my grandson. This is an very complicated case going back to 2011 and it isn't over yet. Thankfully, Evelyn does her homework and could easily see what needed done to cut through the rhet...oric and find a way forward. Her professionalism and honesty is much appreciated.

So happy I chose Evelyn to represent me and my family

I was involved in a very high-conflict, highly-contested custody case with a personality disordered ex-wife. I thought marriage to her was difficult, but I didn’t know how “difficult” she could get until the divorce. I needed someone knowledgable, tough, and persistent to represent me and the best in...terests of our children; as soon as I met Evelyn Cox I knew I had the right person. Evelyn is compassionate and a great listener, two qualities I needed in an attorney. She is also dedicated, intelligent, aggressive, and articulate, other attributes I sought. She was also able to put her own personal needs aside during a difficult time for her personally and give my case 100% focus; not many people can do that, and she did it with poise and professionalism. Evelyn represented me for several years very successfully and I am beyond pleased with the outcome. Seven years later I am still dealing with the personality-disordered ex. I would absolutely still be using Evelyn if we didn’t move several hours away and into a new county. Choose Evelyn for your own case and you will NOT be disappointed.

Forever grateful former client

When we hired Evelyn we were lost, confused, and defeated. Our case was a difficult case to win and the chance of success was very slim. Evelyn was transparent and honest throughout the whole process. She did not promise any specific outcome but we knew she believed in us and she made our difficult s...ituation bearable and eventually won our case. Evelyn fought for our family as if fighting for her own and we knew she cared about our case and our family. We needed a lawyer who knew what they were doing, was the best at it, AND was a genuinely good human being and we found that with Evelyn. She is also well respected in the field. We are incredibly grateful to Evelyn for the work she did on our case and the ally she has become to our family; I truly do not know what we would have done without her representation. My family is complete and my children are home where they belong thanks to the hard work and dedication of Evelyn Cox as our attorney.

Evelyn A Cox is an outstanding attorney

I was fortunate enough to be accepted as a client of Evelyn A. Cox. Despite the insurmountable odds of doing so, Ms. Cox was able to get my case (CPS-related) dismissed. I attribute this to her excellent and expert knowledge in her areas of practice as well as knowledge of the processes of the county... in which the case originated. I am a professional in another industry so I appreciate her skills and expertise. I am very impressed with the fact she is extremely well informed about the processes and procedures of many jurisdictions. The entire process was very emotional and stressful for me and my family and I felt very reassured with Ms. Cox. After my case was dismissed, Ms. Cox represented me during a CACI hearing with the county CWS. After my experience, I feel a person cannot "win" in these hearings without representation. She was reassuring to my daughter and others who were my witnesses. Although I have not heard of the decision, I felt fortunate to have Ms. Cox as my attorney as she knew the CACI process and provided realistic expectation. Her strong point is definitely trials and asking questions. She was amazing in her questioning. All of my witnesses said she is a great attorney. During my initial meeting with Ms. Cox, I felt she was upfront about the situation and most important to me, did not make any promises. She has my utmost respect for her sincerity, integrity and honest; something I do not generally associate with law professionals. I strongly disagree with contrasting reviews and question the competency of the reviewers. In my experience the attorney-client relationship is a two-way street in which both parties need to be involved and accountable. I know for a fact Ms. Cox's actions would not be detrimental to her clients because she is not delusional about the reality of cases. Again, I believe this is due to her upfront manner. I would absolutely recommend Evelyn A. Cox for all areas in her practice; especially child abuse defense. She is totally worth it. --J
