Biography
I have worked as an attorney in Camarillo, California for the last 13 years. My practice focus is on estate planning and family law. I always try to look at the big picture when I am representing a client in an effort to reduce costs and seek a fair and reasonable outcome.
As for my personal life—after high school I moved to San Luis Obispo. I met a wonderful person on the beach in Avila and THREE WEEKS LATER, I married him. We have been married 42 years. We have two children and three beautiful grandchildren.
I worked for Southern Pacific Railroad after high school for about 8 years, then went to work for Mercedes Benz for another 8 years, owned my own business for about 4 years, then decided to go back to school.
In 1994, I started college and completed a BA in Political Science/History from UCSB, then went to Cal State Northridge, completed a MPA, then on to Southwestern University School of Law. I graduated from law school in December 2001. In June 2002, I opened my law practice in Camarillo and have been there ever since.
I obtained my United States Merchant Marine Officer Captain's license from the United States Coast Guard in 2008. I am a Masters Captain with a 100 ton rating. Additionally, I have my multi-engine private pilot's license and ride a Harley Davidson Solftail in my free time.
