
Ms. Miller understands that divorce is an extremely difficult transition in a person's life and is dedicated to assisting clients with compassion and professional advocacy. Ms. Miller is committed to helping people through the litigation process and empowering clients. After becoming a member of the State Bar of California in 2005, she began her career at Family Law Center and Bartholomew and Wasznicky, LLP in Sacramento where she acquired experience in a wide range of family law matters.
Ms. Miller continues to expand her legal education by regularly attending trainings covering diverse topics in family law and staying current with recent developments in family law.
Ms. Miller grew up in Northern California. Her educational pursuits have taken her out of the area, however she has returned to Sacramento to settle into her law practice. Ms. Miller attended Colorado State University on a debate scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Art degree in political science. Returning to California to attend law school, she graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. While in law school, she held a number of internship positions in practice areas such as environmental, landlord/tenant, and family law. She worked as an intern at the San Francisco Department of Child Support Services and completed the Community Board's Volunteer Mediator Training in San Francisco. Ms. Miller also spent a semester in Ireland studying International Human Rights and International and Domestic Dispute Resolution. Most recently, Ms. Miller traveled to Scotland to participate in the European Collaborative Law Consensus.
In 2009 and 2010, Ms. Miller was named by Northern California Superlawyers as a Rising Star.
