Mr. Wheeler is in fact the lawyer all these reviews say he is A+. That said, I like many others have never had the need for his services. Now that I found myself in need of such services the first thought in my mind was "I'm already broke", how am I going to get an attorney and on top of that how to... find one. While in custody I requested council officer bad word began to call down the list fortunately enough Alex (Mr wheeler's associate) had answered his phone at 1 am walked me thru some questions and asked for my contact number. And the next day as I'm feeling pretty much down and out Alex called I mentioned my financial struggles and I can't afford an attorney he said, come talk with us, so I rushed down as fast as I could (after I got my vehicle out of impound). The initial consultation was as one would hope it to be if in need of an attorney and never needing one before. Andrew and Alex walked me thru the process I don't know any legal stuff just what I watch on tv. They were both calm cool and collected I was full of mixed emotions ofcourse. I had not read these reviews before meeting him and I chose him and his team, i did find these reviews after hiring him and his team and read almost all of them it helped a little, everybody's case is different so we can't assume the same positive outcome. Met at his office multiple times spoke on phone multiple times he answered all my questions and I try to question everything why is the sky blue... joking aside if your reading this your really stressed remember your not the only one. And I'd like to say to you write down exactly what happened as soon as you can and take it with you when you meet him. So then, yes he did get my charge reduced. I did have to go to a drug counselor for an evaluation about 1-2 hours, a victims panel about 3 hours bring tissue for drying your eyes, and a day class to learn how the alcohol or weed or other drugs affect your body eight hours. Got me a neg 1 and 40 hours of community service. This whole ordeal is costing me about $7000 and yes officer bad word wrote his report out making me look like the worst guy in the world so read the police report carefully if you don't understand it or you disagree with it let them know. ask the questions. You just might ask the one that helps your case.. the best of luck to you and yours.

I received my fist (and last) DUI this past year and have to say it was an eye opening experience. You go through a plethora of emotions from embarrassment to disappointment. There is nothing “easy” about the process. I am a 39 year old male who's never been arrested and been a model citizen all my l...ife. I just made a really selfish decision to get behind the wheel after a few drinks. I was ready to pay the piper and take my punishment but Andrew and his team had my back and reduced my sentence with minimal fines and penalties. I can’t thank Andrew and his team enough. This was a hard lesson and changed my life for the better. I realized through the mandatory classes that I do have a drinking problem that needs to be handled. It's not only my life Im playing with but all the good people on the road. I highly recommend Wheeler, Montgomery & Boyd and am forever grateful for their service. They gave me a second chance.

I was pulled over one fateful night after consuming a drink while out with a friend... the stereotypical start to most DUI/DWI stories. In addition to the cocktail, I had been excessively tired, exhausted and sleep deprived with a sleepless infant at home. Nevertheless, I went into panic/worry ...mode when the red & blue lights turned on behind me... especially having never been pulled over before. The officers deemed that I was "impaired" and I was charged/arrested for driving under the influence. I was shaken to my core and regretful beyond belief!
