----
I spent eight years in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps drafting wills and other estate planning documents for a wide range of Soldiers and officers, defending Soldiers accused of crimes at home and across northern Iraq and before federal courts of appeals, and prosecuting felony-level courts-martial. I grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and went to college and law school at the University of Oregon. I graduated law school in 2000, and was commissioned a First Lieutenant the Army in 2001 after passing the bar exam.
In 2009, I left the Army and moved back home to the Pacific Northwest. I prosecuted DUIs, thefts, assaults, and other misdemeanors as a prosecutor in Vancouver, then moved to the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. As an Assistant Attorney General, I represented the State in juvenile dependency matters and administrative appeals of actions taken by State agencies regarding adult family homes, child care centers and providers, and findings of child abuse and neglect.
During my years of practice, I have represented clients accused of drug use and distribution, theft, assault, rape, negligent homicide, and child abuse, and prosecuted offenses ranging from shoplifting to child pornography. In fact, I still represent Soldiers in criminal matters as a part-time Judge Advocate and Major in the Washington Army National Guard. I have extensive experience representing the Department of Health and Social Services (DSHS) in Clark and Cowlitz county courts, and have brought piece of mind to countless clients by helping them to plan for their families’ futures should the worst happen.

Todd George was able to advocate for me in superior court after I had appealed my Unemployment claim to the State of Washington and had not prevailed after the hearing with the Administrative Law Judge and upon review by the commissioner. He was able to present to the court that there was a lack of ...

We hired Todd to do our wills. From the beginning we felt comfortable and relaxed. He was very thorough, asked all the right questions to express our wishes. Also very good about keeping in touch. Would highly recommend this lawyer.
"Todd George is not only a competent and thorough professional, he is a really good person. I have enjoyed working with him and against him on cases throughout the years."
"Todd is great guy. He will automatically make you feel better about your case just by talking with him for a few minutes. We were opposing counsel on a number of cases and I found him to be very professional in every sense."
"Todd is just a good lawyer. He knows how to communicate, is smart as a whip, and has been around the block enough to know what's likely to happen. He's a pleasure to work with, and I have heard nothing but great things about him."
"I endorse this lawyer. Todd is an excellent attorney who possesses a wide breadth of legal knowledge and a good-natured character. Todd is equally capable of producing positive results through both negotiation and courtroom advocacy."
"Todd N. George has a breadth of knowledge in the area of family law, having worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the area of dependencies. Todd is actually fun to work with as opposing counsel, at the same time that he works to be a strong advocate on behalf of his clients. I am always glad to hear when Todd is on a case, because I know that both of us as zealous advocates will also work to close the case in a way that is fair and professional."
"I endorse this lawyer. As opposing counsel, Todd was always fair-minded and looked at the big picture. Having that experience as a prosecutor, I believe Todd is well prepared to provide highly effective criminal defenses representation."
"I met Todd when he worked at the Vancouver City Attorney's Office. Todd was across the board one of the best City Attorneys to deal with as he exercised both sound legal judgment and compassion. I am glad to see Todd as a member of the defense bar, as I am sure he will bring the same skill and high level of advocacy to the defense of his clients as he did to his work with the City."
"Todd and I were on the "opposite side of the aisle" when he served as a City Prosecuting Attorney. I found Todd to be smart, dedicated and compassionate to delicate legal situations. In addition to criminal law and procedure, Todd is well-rehearsed in administrative law and serves his clients with the respect and personal attention they deserve."
"I have worked within the same community as Todd for the past few years and have found him to be a consummate professional. He is a dedicated and hard working attorney, and I would have no problem recommending his services to individuals seeking out a zealous advocate for their legal issues."
