Biography
I am an estate planning attorney and handle the drafting of trusts, wills, and medical directives, and appearing in court for guardianship petitions and probate proceedings. Before entering private practice, I served for eleven years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. During my last three years as a prosecutor, I was the head of the Elder Justice Center, where I oversaw the prosecution of those charged with exploiting vulnerable adults, including financial elder abuse.
I have combined my extensive litigation background with my knowledge and experience in estate planning to represent clients in all forms of estate litigation. In this capacity I have assisted clients in navigating the court system with issues ranging from Will contests to claims of breach of fiduciary duty by estate executors.
After seeing the financial and emotional violations that can occur at the Elder Justice Center, I decided to help people proactively plan for their future. I assist clients with carefully thought out estate planning in order to achieve protection of their assets, give clear direction for future health care decisions that may be made on their behalf, and put clear guardianship plans in place for their minor children.
