Andrew William Wheeler

I already wrote a glowing review of Alex Uskoski, who works with Andrew. I contacted Alex first by luck, late at night from the police station, and Alex did most of the work with me directly, but that's not to say Andrew wasn't involved and adding value. He was present, responsive, and his obviou...s knowledge of the system and care for his clients was a huge help. Andrew also helped explain and guide the process for me, appearing in court with me, and working to find ways to lessen the adverse impact of this event. Sometimes on emails or calls I'd get a reply from Andrew before Alex. These guys are so on top of it they must have a contest to see who can take care of clients faster. When we met to discuss my case and review video he was there adding his input and helping me see this nightmare had an end. It is such a huge positive to be able to call your lawyer's office in a panic about something on your case and get instant response. Andrew and Alex did what they said they would do, and we got a good outcome they predicted right away when they saw my case. They didn't give me false hope, I had myself in a bad spot- but they gave me real hope and then delivered on it. They navigated the maze of this prosecutor, that judge, crooked DOL hearings-- hey, you get in a bind, and you're stuck. They can't change DOL being rats, but they sure helped me deal with it at every turn and took a lot of burden off of me. They kept me driving, helped me get charges reduced, helped me fulfill court requirements, and are still working for me to get my last few things handled- community service and the return of some property that was seized. I can't recommend this law firm enough. Not once have they made me feel like anything but a highly valued client. There's no shaming, no "this is your own fault", just let's get this fixed up as well as we can, and compassionate honesty on items where you have no options but to take your medicine. People make mistakes. Don't let picking a bad lawyer make it worse. Andrew and his firm, and Alex Uskoski are the best.

I caught a DUI charge along with other charges several months ago. Andrew was recommended to me so I had a consultation with him along with a few other criminal defense attorneys. I like the fact that most or all of Andrews practice is DUI defense. He knows the law inside and out and is a master o...f the courtroom. After our consultation I retained him and felt confident. I was fearful of a dreadful sentence due to being a repeat offender but he came through for me in a big way. He was able to negotiate an agreement that kept me out of jail. He returns calls and answers all questions. His associates and paralegals are also top notch. If there was a 6 star rating...Andrew would certainly be deserving of it. Its not Better Call Saul...its Better Call Andrew.

I was charged with a DUI in December of 2018. The circumstances were unique as it involved a dead electric car, a 2+ hour wait for a tow truck, and the most ridiculous legal system I could every have imagined. Luckily, a friend of mine recommended hiring Andrew (and Alex) to represent me in the mat...ter. My first surprise was that I wasn't prosecuted just once, but twice; once by the local court and the other by the DOL. The DOL hearing was laughable. Although Alex was very skillful at presenting my case, the DOL refused to believe the evidence and found me guilty as charged. The real kicker is that the hearing examiner's decision can't be appealed! WTF! At that point it made little sense to take the case to court trial, especially with the senile and inconsistent judge I had been assigned. However, throughout the process Andrew and Alex were very good about planning a strategy for my defense and eventually managed to have the charge reduced with only a small fine. This experience was a real eye-opener. I didn't know our legal system was so screwed up and unjust. I really feel lucky to have had Andrew and Alex to keep me from being thrown to the wolves! My final comment is that it's rare to find people in this world that actually do what they say their going to do. Andrew and Alex are definitely examples and men of high integrity and principle. You're going to want them on your side!

On Monday May 14, 2018 I had a scheduled departure to Paris. That previous Friday May 11, 2018 I was involved in a wreck where I lost control of my vehicle and struck a home, later to find out that I completely totaled my car and caused over $30,000 of property damage. That same day I was arrested an...d booked for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol with a high BAC of .19. I was ordered to appear to court Thursday May 17, 2018. I was distraught and scared not knowing what to do next. I knew I wouldn't be able to make it to Paris which my partner and I have planned a year prior to this incident and already payed for the flight tickets, the hotels, and all the accommodations for 10 days. I called the Camas Washougal municipal court and talked with a secretary to see if I could post pone my court date till after I come back from Paris. She told me that I could not post pone the date and I had to appear at court, or an arrest warrant would be issued, but the best she could do for me was recommend a DUI attorney. She recommends Andrew Wheeler. After looking at all the positive reviews I called him the same day and quickly received a call back. At our first consult Mr. Wheeler walked through all the steps we would take and made it very clear on what options we had. I knew Mr. Wheeler would reduce my punishment, but I wasn’t expecting the actual outcome, not even close. I was ready to pay the full consequences for my actions BUT, ANDREW WILLIAM WHEELER WAS ABLE TO REDUCE MY HIGH BAC DUI TO A RECKLESS DRIVING WITH NO JAIL TIME, 10 DAYS WORK CREW, AND ONLY A $2,300 FINE!!!!!!! That is much better than a high-blow DUI on my record. I don’t know how he did it, but I am very happy that Mr. Wheeler achieved a successful resolution on my case. Mr. Wheeler gave me a second chance. I am extremely grateful for what he was able to do. This was a very hard lesson that changed my life for the better. I am not taking this for granted and I vow against intoxicated!!!
