Instead of spending the first of 30 nights in jail I'm hanging with my 2month year old son on my way home... It's all thanks to Andrew too. Given the severity of jail time he recommended I take a deal to avoid jail, as he should have. Myself someone who sees not only talent, but dedication in ppl with what they do I told him I wanted to take the case to trial. "I'll be ready." He told me, almost like he was hoping I'd say let's fight this. He kept me informed of all my options, was timely, professional, and most of all determined to present the absolute best defense possible. Not only did he have the case won before I took the stand, he saved me after I did. As a former professional athlete, it was a pleasure watching Mr.Wheeler approach my trial in the same way I did... It was a brisk evening in January, I had just left the establishment after meeting with good friends. They had invited me over to their home to pick up the Christmas presents they had purchased for my family. We were leaving together and they pulled out in front of me.... For what ever reason I tho...ught it would be funny to honk my horn at them.... The officer that had pulled in behind me didn't seem to find it as humorous as I did. Busted, for honking a horn no less...... The next couple days were as painful as any other I have ever had in my life. I had no idea which way to turn, I didn't want to ask advice from family members as I was super embarrassed as it was. I met with an attorney that the friends I was out with recommended, ( she works in the system) I actually liked him but something didn't quite seem right. I had a phone interview with another and when asking about his fee structure, it was like he was guessing at numbers. I ran across Andrews review here on AVVO and was intrigued that he only works with DUI cases. I made an appointment and after his presentation I "KNEW" this was going to be my attorney. He was matter of fact, had timelines, he could tell me what judge I was going to be seeing by my apperance date having only heard it seconds earlier. He knew which prosecuter would be handling my case and gave me a very professional opinion on what he thought my chances were. He was $1000.00 more than the other attorney I had interviewed, but I knew it would be worth it. He was always on time for my appearances, he was the best dressed in the court room. On one occasion I heard another attorney ask Andrew for his opinion on his clients case. My sister works in Clark County in a capacity where she is familiar with Andrew and she thinks very highly of him. She told me " you made a good choice " Ultimately Andrew got my DUI reduced to wreckles driving, I was given 3 days in jail for that privilege. Funny thing is, I checked in with a gentleman who did not use Andrew. He received the DUI, he had to have ignition interlock, he was given 48 hours minimum lock up. Now for the funny part, the way the system works, I spent less time in jail than he did because he had 48 hours minimum. Andrew positioned me so that I checked in at 10pm on Friday night, and was released Sunday morning at 7am... I can not say enough good things, after my initial meeting with Andrew I slept easy, I knew I was in good hands

I received my 2nd DUI within 2 years and instead of going with the 1st attorney I met (like I did with my 1st DUI) I knew I needed to "shop around" to find the best one. I was recommended to Andrew by 3 people and he met me within an hour after I called him. The consultation was free but he spent ove...r an hour explaining everything in depth to me; from how the legal system worked, his personal experiences, to what options I had. I still did my research and met with 8 other attorneys after him. Only a few spent close to as much time as he did with me. And the rest said they can help me after I hired them, aka after I paid them first. I'm glad Andrew was the 1st attorney I met with because he set the bar high. Besides his knowledge, what made him stand out was that he was the only attorney that offered a payment plan (he was also the cheapest). Every single attorney required half of the money upon hiring and the other half the following month. Honestly, the money wasn't an issue to me at the time because I was willing to spend whatever it took. To me, the fact that he had a payment plan showed that he was not just in it for the money. Court cases always take a long time and I feared that someone who already got paid wouldn't work as hard all the way to the end of the case. With Andrew, his payment plan gave me a sense of security. With that said, his work exceeded my expectations. Since this was my 2nd DUI, there were a lot of costly conditions I had to abide by right after my first court appearance, but Andrew was able to get some released in no time. When it came to my case, he gave me his honest opinion and always presented both sides to me. From there, he would let me choose what path to take. He never pressured me and would remind me that he would have my back regardless. Andrew believed my case had a chance so he filed a motion to suppress, fought it, and he won! I really didn't think he would be able to win because there was a case before mine that lost. Just when I thought all this was over and felt like I could finally breathe, he warned me right off the bat that the battle isn't over because the prosector is going to come after me again (since this is my 2nd offense). I was hoping and praying that they didn't, but sure enough he was right. I was very overwhelmed, but appreciated that he told me so I wasn't caught off guard. He offered a plea bargain and was able to get my charge dropped down to negligent driving with no jail time, which is much better than the 30 days I was originally facing. Since then, my case is almost closed and Andrew has released himself as my attorney. I still had a few court appearances after that to make sure I had completed my conditions. Even though Andrew was technically no longer my attorney, he continued to show up to those court dates with me and still answered every question I had. I recommend Andrew to everyone I know (even family from out of town). He was honest, gave me his straight forth opinion on both sides, and really showed me what I'm up against. Since he was so thorough in explaining everything, I was never blind sighted and he never promised me things he couldn't accomplish. Not only that, but him and his colleagues treated me with such respect and didn't see me as just another criminal in the system. Thank you Andrew!

It was my first DUI and I was absolutely terrified about what would happen after my arrest. Luckily Andrew was reccomended and my first meeting with him was excellent.
