Joe normally represents DUI and other very serious criminal traffic infractions but I took a chance and asked him to represent me in a Lidar/radar speeding infraction I got while traveling on Interstate 5, I really just hoped I could keep it off my driving record and felt lucky if I could just get a ...differed sentence, and a smaller fine because I had seen muiltple people in front of me just getting hammered by the judge for speeding and being caught on radar/laser/lidar by WSP same as me, The only difference is that they didn't have Joseph Breidenback on the case like I did. After he schooled the judge on a motion that had the justice going to chambers and taking a recess to look it up, we were denied our motion based on a previous case but that wasn't the only card Joe had to play, if you've ever seen a masterful attorney at work then you know how awe inspiring it is when all cylinders are firing in synch and their knowlege of case law is put to the test. I felt like David vs Goliath and when the mighty giant that is the court system fell to their knees and recognized that my attorney was right and they could do nothing but concede to the facts and dismiss my case because Joe knows the law better than they do!! Needless to say I won my case due to the masterful skills of Mr. Breidenbach. Even the clerk had to praise his skills as well as did the other attorneys in the court room. If you need someone to elequently speak on your behalf in that foreign lauguage that is "The Law" then I highly recommend Mr. Breidenbach to make sure you are treated fairly and your rights are held in the utmost regards by the court system. Joe made sure I wasnt treated like those other defendants who didn't have a attorney and made the judge sit up and recognize me for the law abiding citizen that I am and rule accordingly. Joe beat the machine. Let me tell you my story. I got stopped in Burien on July 4th because I was throwing fire crackers out of my car window when I was driving on 4th Avenue Southwest. I also had an open can of beer in my car. The police officer stopped me because of the fireworks but I ended up bei...ng arrested and charged with a DUI in King County District Court. Sometime earlier that year I heard some of my coworkers talking how many Boeing workers that Joe had represented. One coworker was joking that Joe should have a slogan that said, “Joseph A. Breidenbach, representing drunk Boeing workers for the last 40 years.” I laughed at this at the time. I never thought that I would ever get into that kind of trouble. I was wrong. By the time I got my DUI I had forgotten all about what my coworkers had said about Joe. I did not know who to hire so I started doing research on the internet and while doing my Google research I recognized his name and ended up going to his website at duijoe.com and I decided that he was the attorney for me. I should mention that I blew into the breath testing machine twice and I blew .16 and .17 which is over twice the legal limit. He won the DOL hearing for me. That was great. Later, the prosecutor offered to reduce the charges so that I would have not had to go to jail for so long but Joe said that he did not think that the offer from the prosecutor was good enough. We turned it down. Originally I was charged with a DUI with a BAC of over .15. The prosecutor threatened to add the additional charge for the Illegal Use Of Fireworks if the case went to trial. Joe still thought that we should turn down the prosecutor’s offer and not be intimidated by his threats. Joe said that he thought that we should take the case to trial and that is exactly what we did. We went to trial and we got an acquittal on the fireworks charge but we ended up with a hung jury on the DUI. The King County Prosecutor was still not willing to make us a better offer so we ended up going to trial again. The trial ended today: NOT GUILTY. So, long story short. We WON on the Illegal Use Of Fireworks Charge. We WON on the DUI charge. We won at the DOL hearing. We lost at… well, we did lose some small battles along the way but, in the end, we won the war. Mr. Breidenbach represented me on a DUI in 1996. He did a great job and got great results. Unfortunately, I got another DUI in 2011. I was really scared. I went back to Joe for help again. He did it again. He was great. He got a much better deal than I would have even hoped for. When I got my DUI I knew that I needed help. A friend of mine suggested that I call Joe Breidenbach. My blood test came back with a result of .24. That is three times .08. I was worried. As a result of the deal that Joe got me got: 1) I got NO JAIL instead of having to serve a minimum of two days in jail if I had been convicted as charged; 2) I got a much smaller fine; 3) I got two years of probation instead of the five years that I would have almost certainly received if I had been convicted as charged; 4) My driver’s license was NOT suspended would have been suspended but it would have been suspended for one year if I have been convicted as originally charged; 5) I never had to have an Ignition Interlock on my car; 6) I never had to have SR-22 insurance; and I did not have to go through a lengthy alcohol treatment program. I really liked the methodical way he approached my DUI. I value his judgment and his results oriented thinking. I highly recommend him.
