Probation issued in AZ, 2012
updated on 01/19/2015
Probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
Jill's comment: “Please understand that my discipline and probation negatively affects my rating on Avvo. My probation was not due to any infractions related to my legal representation. I received an Arizona DUI in 2010, was issued an admonition (lowest form of discipline) from the State Bar and placed on probation for that reason alone. I have never received any discipline related to my actual work as an attorney.”
