Referred a family member to her, and I deeply regret that now. Marie was not responsive - to multiple e-mails and phone calls over an approximate two-year period. She misrepresented the strength of the case when we initially met with her and essentially was not a strong advocate when the time came ...to present the case. I regret writing this but I also want to worn other people - especially those on a very tight budget - to seek legal help elsewhere.

I am also an attorney and hired Marie for a custodial dispute. After some initial work and a response by opposing counsel she went completely dark. Had zero response to multiple emails from me and opposing counsel - not even to confirm if she still in fact represented me. In my 25 years practicin...g I have never experienced such an astonishing lack of communication, even for a family law attorney. I ended up filing an ethics complaint against her. Do not use this attorney. If you have to, just make sure you do not pay her in advance.

I should have easily won my petition to modify support for my kids but I don't think Marie took it seriously. I came with good reason to modify and the judge decided in my deadbeat exes favor in my opinion with minimal change to the support order, support for my kids extra costs and a decision to mak...e him pay for their college and activites. Would not use again.

Marie submitted documents to the other party in my case that were incorrect documents. She also had many typos and errors in her motion paperwork making her appear to be hurried and not thorough. I would hire someone who is more organized and detailed. She seems to care about taking money from client...s knowing full well that their cases don’t stand a chance in the platform she is trying to argue. Additionally she’s great at grasping for straws. She filed the motion in the above mentioned case not only wrong, but by incorrectly citing legal code and basically using a “catch all” argument. Not a good choice. Recommend looking elsewhere.

I had hired Marie based on this review but it turned out she didn't do a good job at all. She rushes at every paperwork info. and lack of communication and unprepared when showed up at my case. My divorce final orders was vacated because she did not serve my properly and was not served at all with th...e final orders. Now I have to go back redo everything. She won't return my phone calls and took $5000 from me. I am a single mother of 4 with no child support and barely making ends meet. She is not a human being at all. Very heartless to do that to any one.
