Excellent Attorney highly recommended

The Right Lawyer
I hired John to represent my son who was charged with a crime I knew he did not comit. I was just about the only one who believed in him...until I met John. I knew right from the begining that I had hired the right lawyer for representation because he made both of us feel that we weren't alone anymore in our battle. Our case lasted approximately one and a half years and, truthfully, it was extremely stressful but it would have been much more stressful had it not been for John. He was always there for us whenever we had questions or needed to talk about the case. He always kept us informed and met with us on a regular basis to keep us up to date on any developments. As trial drew closer our stress level increased and,again, he told us what to expect and how to handle ourselves. When trial did come we were prepared and so were our witnesses and things worked out just fine! I wouldn't want to go through it again, but I'm truly greatful that we had John to steer us through the criminal justice system

Good Lawyer
I hired Attorney Elbert for my son, who has a very serious case, a few months ago and since then have had to text and call him numerous times with questions about the case and Mr. Elbert has always gottent back to me within minutes, except when he was in court... I have nevr. had to use a lawyer before but I feel very comfortable with attorney Elbert because he always treats me with respect and he always makes me feel at ease and less nervous and even though i've never had to use a lawyer before i'm really glad I was referred to attorney Elbert by one of his former clients who is also a friend of mine because I feel that my son's matter and my son is in good hands with attorney Elbert especially knowing that he won my friend's case which was just as serious as my son's.

A Really Excellent and Responsive Lawyer
I hirer John for my boyfriend about a year ago and he did everything he said he would do. I read the review of Suneisha and I can't believe that John did the things she said he did, he just isn't that kind of man or lawyer. He kept both of us informed about the case, always returned our calls and ALWAYS went to court!!! It's too bad he can't defend himself here...I just know that I'd hire him again in a second and would reccomend him to my family and friends without a moment's hesitation. If I ever needed a lawyer for myself, he'd be the lawyer I'd hire with a doubt!

Having john as a representative
Every time i have had john represent me the turnout was as he predicted. He never sold me dreams or made situations seem as they weren't. A very stand up straight forward guy and I would recommend him to anyone who wanted an excellent lawyer.

An Excellent Attorney
July 19, 2011 John, I want to begin by thanking you for your superb work with Alphonso. While I've only met with him once, I've talked with him dozens of times on the phone. The thought of pushing him through the justice system as you did over the past few weeks is pretty remarkable. Half of the battle, as you know, is simply working to get him to a certain place at a certain time. The other half, however, is convincing him that talking will get him in more trouble than if he simply will keep his mouth shut and let others do the talking. I have been surprised that I have not heard more from Alphonso after his return from Philadelphia. I think that he feels that justice not only was served, but that you two taught the Philadelphia Criminal Courts a thing or two. To hear him talk about it, your victory was only slightly less than what Johnnie Cochran accomplished for O.J. Alphonso is ready to go back up to Philadelphia, any time you want him to, so that the two of you can lay another whooping on the criminal justice system!! Experienced, Skilled and Always Prepared
I came to Mr. Elbert after I dismissed my prior attorney who was "supposedly" handling my case and am I GLAD I did! I was immediately impressed with him at our first meeting and he did everything he said he would. He always answered all of my questions; kept me up to date with my case; took the time that was needed to prepare and investigate as well as prepping my witnesses. Excellent Attorney
John Elbert represented me on two criminal cases and won both. He prepared me and my witnesses for trial and saw me at my convenience for consultations; even on Saturdays and Sundays. He was extremely well prepared for trial in both cases as was I. Without his help I most certainly would have lost my job. Thanks John!

I Highly Reccomend John Elbert
If not for Mr. Elbert's skills in the courtroom and knowledge of the law I'd probably have been convicted. Instead, Mr. Elbert had the case against me dismissed with a Motion to Suppress the evidence. He is extremely professional and ALWAYS returns phone calls and kept me informed about my case from start to finish.

The Absolute Best Lawyer in Philadelphia
Mr. Elbert kept me informed with the progress of my case every step of the way and always returned my phone calls and/or emails. He is extremely professional and when he walks into a courtroom it's as if he takes over control. I always felt safe and confident knowing that he was at my side.

Don’t hire him , he will rob you blind
This attorney promised me he could help my sons case and win his appeals, I hired him to do the job but as time went by he would call me while I was working and said where’s the check I would tell every time that I get paid every two weeks and once my money is in the bank I will send you the check just like I told you in your office the day I hired you. I even had to drive out to his house in New Jersey to give him money cause he threatened that he would drop the case. I even paid him to go see my son and he never even saw him. He made the excuse he had some emergency and had to turn around. He proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay him again for him to see my son. Then when court date hit he never even showed up. He had some neighbor call the judge saying he was going to the hospital by ambulance. There were others that day that he didn’t show up to court for either. The judge’s were not to happy with him. I would not hire him. He robs you of your money and leaves you empty handed. Run run run. You’re better off hiring someone else. Don’t waste your time or money that you will spend and he won’t do the job you hired him for. He even filed bankruptcy that year so no one could come after him for taking their money!

What a joke
I hired John Elbert and he didn't do the job I paid him for. He didn't even show up to my hearing. What a joke. He has tons of excuses why he can't be at court or come to see you. Your better off hiring someone else.

mislead me
John B Elbert represented me, but did not keep me informed and was non responsive when I had questions. He pressured me into a plea, but did not fully disclose everything I had to face when taking the plea.
