Biography
I have always served my community and attempted to help those in need. Prior to law school, I worked as a paramedic in many different settings including various rescue and teaching positions as well as serving on a SWAT team in Texas. These
experiences provided me with many unique opportunities that I have used to my
clients' benefit.
During law school, I worked in the District Attorney's office as well as a major civil litigation firm. These positions further developed my litigation skills. Since being admitted to the Colorado Bar, I have dedicated my practice to defending persons charged by the government with various offenses including DUI and traffic offenses, misdemeanors and felonies.
The power of the government, via the police and District Attorney, is almost limitless. Only the criminal defense attorney can provide a check to this power. It is my hope to provide that check on behalf of my clients.

"Easiest case" was not so easy
When I was able to get a hold of John he was attentive otherwise I did not hear from him. It really made me feel like my case was nowhere near a priority... I hired John at the end of 2016 through the first half of 2017 for a DWAI (refusal) case. I presented the paperwork and discovery/video evidence...
