Definitely the right lawyer

John is exactly the kind of lawyer you want on your side. He is honest, caring, and will fight every step of the way with you. I have at times felt very overwhelmed and stressed, his reassurance and faith in the system and his clients are apparent. Thank you John.

Dishonest and completely unprofessional

I’m currently in between jobs trying to make ends meet on my own. Also my credit was impacted from my divorce which adds a sense of urgency to obtaining my funds in a timely manner. Having to rely on my ex husband to assist me in cash advances to hold me over till I can obtain what is rightfully mine.... This act of dishonesty is completely unacceptable. As of July 2 2024, I signed my settlement agreement, for my understanding the amount of $40,000 will be given to me within 45 (calendar) days. As we come to the 45th day which falls on Aug 15th. I want to clarify, I never signed any agreements for John Daniel’s to withhold money from the settlement to pay for any outstanding bill. The amount of $40,000 in its entirety should be given to me as part of the divorce settlement with my ex husband. As stated before, I never agreed to any outstanding balance to be deducted from the settlement agreement amount and shouldn’t be used for that purpose. For my understanding, the check was hand delivered to John Daniel’s office on July 26th and I was expecting payment the following week which falls by the 1st of Aug. I was told to reach back the following week to resolve this matter. Unfortunately, today I was told that I need to wait additional week(s) to get my settlement amount? The saddest part is with all the lies up to date he has not only lost all credibility but also his integrity. At this point, The agreement is not being met and these funds are currently being withheld from me that will be exceeding the 45 day deadline as per our agreement. Clearly it’s going on 3 weeks since the amount is in John Daniel’s possession. I called his office several times demanding an explanation. I asked him when am I planning to obtain my settlement money? Nothing, No straight answers, I’m a threat to him for calling him out and now I became the problem. He basically told me that “He will get me the funds when he decides to give it to me”. More like, I’ll give you the money when I feel like it, and just deal with it. How is that legal to withhold money from my settled amount to not show me an Itemized log or billed invoice before I’m charged a random amount and my remaining amount is eventually handled to me? Technically he can charge me for $10k/$20k for doing absolutely nothing and the sick part is he can simply withdraw that money from my settlement that he has in his account without giving me the option to view my bill before agreeing to pay. How is that legal? In addition, $17k was prepaid for my divorce proceedings, $3k was prepaid for my mediation retainer. $3,900 was prepaid towards the mediation fees. If you do the math for less than 6 months for the amount I paid out of pocket, he definitely over charged me. We didn’t talk much on the phone, didn’t send emails or text, just a lot of excuses why he couldn’t get back to me. Always asked me for more funds. I wasted trips to his office just to be asked to come back because he didn’t get to the point of handling my case when I was there. Always busy with other cases when I actually had an appointment to be seen and took off unpaid time from work to see him. I am certain I’m not the only person that fell victim to this treatment. Hopefully my review will help others read between the lines.

Amazing attorney

After firing two attorneys that were previously representing my custody battle and were not fighting for me I hire Mr. Daniels to represent me. He wasted no time and immediately took action. Mr. Daniels promised results and I am happy to say that because of him I am able to spend more time with my d...aughters and I was also able to keep my parental rights. Mr. Daniels is an amazing attorney that will fight for you until the end. Hiring him was the best decision. My only regret is not hiring him from the very beginning.
