The past four months have been the hardest period of my life. I found myself in jail facing a felony DV assault charge and a misdemeanor DV assault charge. After multiple court dates and a lot of work back and forth together on my defense, Nancy just got the felony assault charge and the misdemeanor assault charge dismissed altogether for me, which I've heard is exceedingly rare. Nancy has given me a second lease on life, and she was right that first time I saw her in jail, this has been an incredible turning point and I am truly grateful for this experience because I've come out on the other side of it in a much better place in my life.
