I have been interested in defending the falsly accused since I was a young boy. I went to Law School with the goal of defending people in mind. I tailored my class work towards this end and interned for 2+ years at the Colorado Public Defender's Office.
I volunteer at 'Law Line 9' on a local TV Network which provides free legal advice to people. I also volunteered one year at the 'Dumb Friends League' in Denver. It's a local animal shelter.
I have judged numerous 'Moot Court Competitions' which are given to provide legal students with an opportunity to hone their courtroom skills.
I fight doggedly for my clients and never, in 15+ years, have ever let a client take a guilty plea, of any sort, during our first court appearance.

Dan came highly recommended and I chose him to represent me in a DUI case. Last week, I'm happy to report that the charge was reduced to a non-alcohol offense because of Dan's due diligence, incredible knowledge of the law and many years of experience. He is definitely my hero!

"Dan Murphy is one of the most dedicated criminal defense attorneys I know. He works tirelessly for his clients. They always get 110% of his efforts and they are lucky to have this fighter in their corner!"
"Dan is a very hard working lawyer. He is one of the most passionate attorneys I have ever met. Our office has referred many cases to Dan over the years. Dan is known for digging in on every case he takes."
"I've interacted with Dan as both a former prosecutor and criminal defense attorney, and have always found that he goes to bat for his clients with a zealousness that most other attorneys do not have. Dan is also a good source of information as he possesses more experience than most in our legal community. Clients are in good hands with Dan."
"Dan works tirelessly for his clients. I have referred several people to him and they all have been extraordinarily happy with the results they received. I recommend him without reservation."
"Of all the criminal defense attorneys I have met over the past 29 years, no one works harder for their clients than Dan. He takes extra time investigating the facts and researching the law. He is relentless in court and is well respected by the judges and prosecutors. Dan should be on the short list of attorneys who you are considering for representation."
