I needed an attorney to handle my pending divorce case. I was not happy with my attorney at the time and we have several upcoming matters. I talked with Lawrence Law Office and they recommended that I talk with my current attorney again. My current attorney was very not responsive. I retained Lin...da Lawrence and we resolved the case in a very reasonable way. The communication with Lawrence Law Office and the staff was great. They had to wait a couple of times for information from me. But their turn around on documents was fast.

Wouldn’t give them a dollar. There rates are outrageous there communication is an absolutely ridiculous and Linda will hide and hide. I’ve left multiple messages and she won’t call back. Let me start with they want to charge me over $11,000 for PAPER PUSHING! I had to contact them after I paid there ...$3,000.00 retainer to get them to even start the process. Then we ran into another speed bump with the case had to do another case go there for the consultation that they said was free but then they showed up to court Tammy. The lawyer they had representing us, didn’t do anything in court. Her husband, Rod, Lawrence didn’t do anything in court either. Since when is it the job of the attorney to call the defendant to tell them that they have court and you want to charge me $75 for a phone call they want to charge me all this money for paper pushing do yourself a favor and research a little more on Google don’t just go off of this website because Google shows their true colors.

I can truly relate to the negative reviews and am in disbelief of any good ones. If you want communication you won’t find it here, but you will find charges of communication on your bill. So many charges that just repeat over and over and are so vague. I was completely in the dark about anything that... was going on regarding my divorce. And charges that repeat over and over stating they were working on the case and communicating with me, And again very vague as to what exactly it was. And I wish it were true that they communicated with me! I do not like being charged for things that I did not receive. Thousands of dollars spent and we had only had one hearing!! The minute I put money into the retainer it was depleted before the next court date. I feel like I was charged for just calling and emailing this office asking for insight as to what we are doing, and without ever getting an answer. The only reason I ever knew about any court dates or any news regarding my case is because I went onto the clerk of courts website and saw for myself, or I would go to the clerks office and ask for a copy of the court documents!! I even got charged for her associate that she decided to bring to the hearing! I did not agree to pay for 2 attorneys! If she wanted to train her associate she can do that on her time not mine and at her expense not mine! I fired her and went with another attorney.

Linda Lawrence seems like a very nice person when you meet her. I started my case back in may/2016. She is very hard to get ahold of. She is over priced for the work she does. She does not care about your case only the money. She kept charging me for things that I seen no results. Her office set up a...nd appointment with my mother and husband. They called my mother and rescheduled the phone interview for later in the day and failed to call her so she called and spoke with her. Then they never called my husband and I had to call in and figure out why and the secretary told me she had the wrong number when they are the one who called him and scheduled the interview. I rescheduled that one and they were late calling him. Then they scheduled one with my sister and never called her. She emailed me and told me what she needed from them all when she could've just done that in the beginning. My mother and husband both felt like she did not listen to what they had to say. Just charging me for the time. I paid multiple times, on time and more than they were asking. The invoices always come out right before the next meeting in front of the judge. I was told in the beginning I could do a payment plan but no one every got back to me on how much just that the invoice needed to be paid. This last time I got the invoice and I thought I was going to be able to borrow the money from a family member but they were unable to get it to me so I said I could pay a certain amount and when I could pay more I would but that wasn't enough and they couldn't give me an amount that would be ok to pay. I talked to a man named spencer that works for the office and asked if Linda was available and he said please hold one second then came back and asked if I had the full amount and I said no then he said please hold and then came back and said Linda was not available. I really hope someone reads these bad reviews and saves their money for a good lawyer one who will help them and actually care about the case and not just the money. We are out a good chunk of money because she doesn't care about anything but the money.
