Coleman is a native of Hernando County being born and raised in the Nature Coast area. He was the first graduating class at Bishop Mclaughlin Catholic High School in Pasco County, Florida. Coleman obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Economics from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama.
Following his undergraduate studies, Coleman earned his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law.
Coleman has spent years litigating thousands of cases across the State of Florida, both as Plaintiff and Defense Counsel, focusing on insurance litigation, general liability litigation, fraudulent insurance claims, and breach of contract disputes. Coleman has previously worked as an in-house trial attorney for one of the largest insurance companies in the United States, as well as a Nationally recognized defense firm that boasted over 500 trial attorneys nationwide.
Currently, Coleman is a trial attorney at the law firm of Hengesbach & Hengesbach where he focuses his practice on estate litigation, wills and trusts contests, business litigation, real estate litigation, wrongful death and insurance litigation.
Coleman has made a reputation of being an aggressive advocate for his clients, with a unique sense of attention to detail. Coleman leaves “no rock left unturned” and embraces his competitive nature that he learned at a young age.
When not practicing law, Coleman spends his spare time with his wife and two sons. Coleman enjoys virtually any sport and is an avid golfer.
