A lawyer that listens, cares, and follows through!!!
Well let’s start with - I became happily divorced about a week ago! When I consulted with Helen, I immediately felt comfortable and heard . I hired her as my divorce attorney and she asked me what my priorities were. She didn’t follow just the standard divorce protocols that any lawyer could follow, but she made sure that we would make this as easy for my daughter as possible and helped me to fulfill my daughters wishes as well. Helen also gave me strong advice when I needed it on the days I was crumbling. She treated me like a friend, not just a client , and I can say that my daughter has adjusted well, I am set financially, and I live in a beautiful, peaceful new home. Helen is a big reason why!!!

Unexpectedly Amazing!!!
I can’t express how immensely grateful I am for Helen’s work on my post-nuptual agreement. Having her work on my case was a blessing as I was going through a rough patch. She was extremely knowledgeable and knew all the intricacies of Family Law. The postnup she produced really filled in any possible corner and scenario in life. She covered things that didn’t even occur to my mind how important they were. Not only she delivered fast, on time and gave a realistic timeline, she never ghosted me and was available day and night to answer any question I had. I did not even expect such dedication! She navigated me through my marital situation very delicately and explained every “what-if” scenario. Her consultation was superb and simply invaluable to my decision making. Efficient and knowledgeable
We needed a post nuptial agreement before we were able to refi and Helen took the time to explain to me exactly what it entails and the steps her firm would take to complete the document. She was always an email away and was extremely helpful even when the refi team was having trouble knowing what legal terms they needed included. Efficient and knowledgeable. She even followed up a few weeks later to be sure everything worked out for us.

The Right Decision
After my consultation with Helen I knew that she would manage my divorce practically, aggressively, and with compassion. I had the pleasure of hiring Helen Dukhan as my attorney in a child support case. She fought very hard for me to keep my financial obligations to as little as possible given my financial situation. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and kept me up to date on everything that was happening during negotiations with my ex-husband. I highly recommend her and would use her services again if the need to arose.

Extremely knowledgable and trustworthy attorney
Helen is an amazing divorce attorney. I say this due to the fact that not only is she experienced, smart and strong, but because she does not treat you like a "client", she treats you like a person. Her level of individualized representation is unparalleled. She always had time for my litany of questions, never made me feel that I was bothering her, answered my phone calls and e-mails right away, even if it was just a text to say she is busy and will get back to me shortly. She made me feel like I was in control of my divorce every step of the way, while calmly and patiently giving me her opinion and suggestions. She is fighter in the court room and obtained a settlement for me that I could never have dreamed of. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Helen Dukhan is a life saver. I knew her from when I lived in New York as I sought legal advice from her in the past. So, even though I had moved out of state, it was a no brainer that I would seek her advise when my fiance asked me to sign a prenuptial agreement. Since I was originally from New York and had assets and a background in New York she became my legal consultant and supported me and protected my rights and interests every step of the way. She made what could have been a stressful situation, during what is supposed to be a happy time, completely ok. She made me laugh, calmed my fears and was truly there for me. I am forever thankful (as is my now husband!).

Uncontested Divorce Stipulation
I was referred by a friend to Helen Dukhan, Esq. I reached out to Helen for her professional services to look over my uncontested divorce stipulation and guide me in this process. Helen turned this around in no time and gave me all her feedback. Helen pointed out other language that needs to be included to protect me in my stipulations. Helen gave me her comments in writing and great advice on how to follow up. If I need to follow up further in my divorce, Helen will be able to represent me and follow up with the other Lawyer. I do recommend Helen, she is very professional, attentive to details, give great advise, and will tell you upfront her recommendations and how much the fees will be for her services, no surprises.

A professional lawyer in time of need....
I called upon the law services of Mrs. Dukhan after reading her profile on Avvo in desperate need of legal advisement for prenuptial agreement. She responded promptly to my message and listen carefully to my situation for seeking advisement and closure to an agreement in a short period of time. From the first meeting, I felt relieved that I was in good hands. Not only did Mrs. Dukhan convey knowledge and experience with prenuptial agreements, she was very patient and sensitive to my worries and stress related to such agreements. Mrs. Dukhan took into account not only my perspective but also respected what my finace' wanted in the agreement as well. After reviewing a draft of the agreement, Mrs. Dukhan followed up attentively via e-mail and phone to ensure that I understood my rights and clarify terms. At the end of the process, Mrs. Dukhan facilitated a fair written agreement that my fiance and I felt comfortable with signing. Overall, I am extremely pleased with Mrs. Dukhan services. She exceeded my expectations in terms of responsiveness, genuine regard and reasonable fees for service.

Excellent and knowlegable Attorney
I have known Ms. Dukhan for more than 5 years, she is an excellent Attorney. If you should ever need an attorney to handle your divorce or family law matters do not hesitate to call her. She is very professional, honest, confident, knowledgeable and trustworthy. She is very approachable and easy to communicate with. Ms. Dukhan handled a family law matter for a member of my family and it turned out great!! There were days when we couldn't help but worry, but Ms. Dukhan is always there reassuring us that things would turn out fine. If there was something to worry about she would let you know as well. Yes, I have recommended her to many of my friends and I will continue to do so for as long as I am able. Keep up the good work!!

Fantastic Employer
Helen M. Dukhan was an adjunct professor at my school of law. Through the appointment of her to my small group in a larger class, we were able to form a relationship. That relationship evolved into a summer associateship at her firm. She was very knowledgeable and helped guide me through the summer. While she helped me along, she respected me the way I respected her and trusted me to do the work that needed to be done without watching over my shoulder. Her clients love her and are constantly recommending others to her due to her superior quality of work.

Excellent Services!!
Ms. Dukhan was honest,,tough to the point and personable. Any question I had (and there were many..) was answered promptly. She kept me informed and let me know when I did and did not have to worry! I felt confident and prepared for my case and was able to focus on the important issues at hand.
