Linda Juergens Lawrence

Did not return calls, very difficult to contact; a fairly straight forward dissolution divorce took much longer and cost much more than estimated; though I hired her, or so I thought, most of my interactions with her firm were with another more junior attorney; though she was supposed to show up in c...ourt the day of the final hearing, she couldn't make it at the last minute, so sent her subordinate. Throughout the entire process, I got incorrect bills more than once and dealt with 3 or 4 different administrative staff because the prior person was "no longer with the firm".

Linda Lawrence seems like a very nice person when you meet her. I started my case back in may/2016. She is very hard to get ahold of. She is over priced for the work she does. She does not care about your case only the money. She kept charging me for things that I seen no results. Her office set up a...nd appointment with my mother and husband. They called my mother and rescheduled the phone interview for later in the day and failed to call her so she called and spoke with her. Then they never called my husband and I had to call in and figure out why and the secretary told me she had the wrong number when they are the one who called him and scheduled the interview. I rescheduled that one and they were late calling him. Then they scheduled one with my sister and never called her. She emailed me and told me what she needed from them all when she could've just done that in the beginning. My mother and husband both felt like she did not listen to what they had to say. Just charging me for the time. I paid multiple times, on time and more than they were asking. The invoices always come out right before the next meeting in front of the judge. I was told in the beginning I could do a payment plan but no one every got back to me on how much just that the invoice needed to be paid. This last time I got the invoice and I thought I was going to be able to borrow the money from a family member but they were unable to get it to me so I said I could pay a certain amount and when I could pay more I would but that wasn't enough and they couldn't give me an amount that would be ok to pay. I talked to a man named spencer that works for the office and asked if Linda was available and he said please hold one second then came back and asked if I had the full amount and I said no then he said please hold and then came back and said Linda was not available. I really hope someone reads these bad reviews and saves their money for a good lawyer one who will help them and actually care about the case and not just the money. We are out a good chunk of money because she doesn't care about anything but the money.

Terrible law office! Linda has done virtually nothing for the case yet bills keep going out. She waited until last minute to even contact the witnesses. She set up appointments and failed to call on all 4 separate occasions. Un professional! Save yourself the time and money and get a good lawyer. Als...o apparently they do not offer payment plans so unless you are ready to pay for everything at the time of service they will not continue your case.

The lack of professionalism is truly astounding. If you expect to have a call returned, don't try this firm. If you expect communication, don't waste your time or money here. On several occasions I heard "We will give you a call back in 1-2 hours" but I would never receive a call back at all. I was t...old I would be receiving an email regarding my case "in just a few minutes" only to receive it days later. This didn't happen once or twice, this was a regular occurrence. I had planned on firing them after they botched a submission to the court, but I was foolish to stick around until they blew through another $2500 of mine with not tangible progress in my case, nor no specific endgame. I implore you to take your money elsewhere.
